Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for continuously carbonizing organic waste smoothly. SOLUTION: This apparatus has a supply part 5 of a subject to be treated arranged in the upper part of a continuously carbonizing part 4 to be kept in a reduction atmosphere, an upper opening plate 11 and a lower opening plate 12 which are arranged in the lower part of the part 5 inside the part 4 and at least any of which is made movable. Passing holes are arranged on the plates 11 and 12, respectively so that the subject to be treated is made to fall through the passing holes when the positions of the holes of the plate 11 are made to coincide with those of the holes of the plate 12 by moving either of the plates 11 and 12. The subject to be treated is carbonized continuously while falling through the passing holes. A cooling jacket 10A is arranged on the plate 11 or the plate 12. When the projected cooling jacket 10A is arranged on the undersurface other than the passing holes of the plate 11, the falling of the subject to be treated is promoted by the interference of the jacket 10A when the plate 11 is moved.

2. Description of the Related Art The scale of sewage treatment facilities, human waste treatment facilities and various kinds of sewage treatment facilities is increasing, and the amount of generated sludge is increasing with the scale. In order to solidify into useful building materials, etc., there is a problem that strength is not obtained due to organic substances as a main component and there is a problem of odor. Attempts have been made to use fertilizer (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-116367), but at present the amount of fertilizer produced is large, resulting in overproduction. Sewage sludge, sludge generated in human waste treatment facilities and various kinds of wastewater treatment facilities can be used effectively, but incineration is one of the options as a waste treatment means. However, at the time of incineration, measures against the generation of dioxin are required, and a heating source is also required.

According to No., in a device that only provides a grid below the continuous carbonization section, the grid is clogged and hinders continuous processing. Therefore, in order to smoothly perform continuous carbonization in a reducing atmosphere, The upper opening plate and the lower opening plate having a plurality of passage holes are provided in the continuous carbonized portion to enable the movement of the steel sheet.
By moving the upper opening plate, the carbide can be dropped when the upper and lower passage holes coincide (the same position when viewed in the vertical direction). In addition, a downward scraping plate is provided on the bottom surface of the upper opening plate.

If the moving upper and lower opening plates are provided in the continuous carbonized portion, the carbonized object to be carbonized during carbonization passes when the upper and lower passage holes are at the same position in the vertical direction. However, the passage holes are closed at different positions in the vertical direction, and in any case, the passage of air is hardly allowed, so that the reducing atmosphere can be maintained. The object to be carbonized is carbonized while moving appropriately downward.
However, the object to be carbonized during carbonization is usually 600 to 650 ° C.
As a result, the upper opening plate, the lower opening plate, and the wall surface around the continuous carbonized portion were exposed to the high temperature, and depending on the operating conditions, there was a case where the components were deformed. If both the upper opening plate and the lower opening plate are warped or deformed by heat, the object to be carbonized becomes insufficiently dropped, becomes difficult to move, and cannot be continuously carbonized. In the case where a downward scraping plate is provided on the bottom surface of the upper opening plate, there were cases in which the movement became rather difficult. Therefore, for the purpose of smoothly performing continuous carbonization, the upper opening plate and the lower opening plate have been studied, and a configuration capable of favorably maintaining the scraping function has been studied.

FIGS. 3 and 4 are enlarged views of a portion A in FIG.
In the continuous carbonizing section 4, the object to be treated is supplied from above, and is moved downward while carbonizing the reducing atmosphere in a state where there is almost no supply of air. For this purpose, an upper opening plate 11 and a lower opening plate 12 are provided in the continuous carbonized portion 4. Each of the structures has a plurality of passage holes (opening grooves) through which the object to be processed during carbonization passes. FIG. 5 shows a cross section of the lower opening plate 12. The upper opening plate 11 has substantially the same structure, except that the lower opening plate 12 is fixed to the apparatus casing 2 while the upper opening plate 11 is fixed.
Is movable in the horizontal direction. The upper opening plate 11
Is suspended in the continuous carbonized portion 4 by a suspension rod 13 and is connected to a cylinder 15 provided on a side surface of the device casing 2. If the passage holes 11a and 12a provided in the moving upper opening plate 11 and the fixed lower opening plate 12 are located at different vertical positions as shown in FIG. 3, the object to be processed cannot pass.
When the objects coincide in the vertical direction as shown in FIG. 4, the object to be processed can descend.

The object to be carbonized during carbonization is usually 600 to 650.
As a result, the upper opening plate 11 and the lower opening plate 12 are easily deformed. Further, the wall surface of the inner cylinder 3A around the continuous carbonized portion is also exposed to a high temperature. When deformation such as warpage of the upper opening plate 11 and the lower opening plate 12 occurs due to heat, the falling of the object to be carbonized becomes insufficient,
Movement becomes difficult and continuous carbonization becomes impossible. If a downward scraping plate is provided on the bottom surface of the upper opening plate 11, the movement may be rather difficult. Therefore, in the present invention, the cooling jackets 10A, 10B are provided on the upper opening plate 11 and the lower opening plate 12.
Is provided. The structure of the cooling jacket is shown in FIG. The refrigerant liquid moves toward the refrigerant outlet while bypassing the refrigerant inlet 12b around the plurality of passage holes 12a of the object to be processed. As the liquid of the refrigerant, water is suitable because it is inexpensive and easy to supply.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG.
When 11a and 12a are present at different positions, the object to be processed is placed on the lower opening plate 12 without falling.
The cooling jacket 10A is provided so as to protrude leaving a passage hole below the upper opening plate. Thus, each time the upper opening plate moves, the cooling jacket 10A interferes with the object to be processed so as to encourage the object to be dropped.
When the upper opening plate 11 is periodically moved left and right by a cylinder 15 that forms the swinging means 14 together with the hanging rod 13, the object to be processed or carbide can be dropped downward.

An object to be treated with organic waste is put into the continuous carbonization section 4 and ignited by applying a burner flame to the continuous carbonization section 4 until the initial carbonization is stabilized. While carbonizing the reducing atmosphere in a state where there is almost no supply of air, while periodically moving the upper opening plate 11 left and right by the rocking means 14,
The carbide falls down. At this time, the exhaust fan 9 is rotated to forcibly remove the organic gas such as wood vinegar generated as a result of carbonization from the suction duct 8, and the organic gas is burned in the combustion furnace 16.
Organic gas such as wood vinegar may be collected by a collection tube that is bent in a U-shape in the middle and passes through the cooling water tank.

According to the present invention, since the upper opening plate is smoothly moved, it is possible to continuously carbonize the object to be treated with organic waste without stagnation in the carbonization process. Reduction is always performed in a stable state, and a homogeneous carbide is obtained.
Since the upper opening plate, the lower opening plate, the inner cylinder, the casing and the like are not exposed to a high temperature, the device is hardly damaged and the durability is improved.
