【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明が属する技術分野】本発明は、全体として整形外
科用（又は骨用）充填材料に関し、更に詳しくは、特定
の粘度を有する硫酸カルシウムから製造された整形外科
充填材料に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】骨セメントは重要な整形外科充填材料の
一つであり、整形外科手術において骨髄間隙および骨と
インプラントとの間の間隙を充填するために使用され、
それにより整形外科手術後に骨が適当な強度をもつこと
ができるか、又はインプラントが骨と密接に結合するこ
とができる。しかしながら、骨セメントは人体に吸収さ
れることができず、骨髄の造血機能に影響を及ぼす傾向
がある。
【０００３】移植骨片は別の重要な整形外科充填材料の
一つである。移植骨片の利点は骨の内部への成長を促進
することができることである。しかしながら、移植骨片
は、それが骨と融合する前に患者の体重の圧力の重荷に
耐えることができないので、インプラントしなければな
らない。
【０００４】合成整形外科粒剤もまた、重要な整形外科
充填材料の一つである。しかしながら、それは移植骨片
と同じ上記の欠点を有する。

【発明の実施の形態】好ましくは本発明の上記ペースト
は、１５〜８０重量％、更に好ましくは２０〜７５重量
％、そして最も好ましくは３０〜６０重量％の硫酸カル
シウム；および残量の水、水溶液、水性分散液又は水性
サスペンションを含む。

ができる。本発明で使用される水溶液は、ある種の治療

カルシウム半水和物の化学式は、本質的にＣａＳＯ4・
０．５Ｈ2Ｏから成る。本発明のペーストの硫酸カルシ
ウムの化学式はＣａＳＯ4・ｎＨ2Ｏの混合物であり、こ
こでｎは０、０．５、２、又はその他の値を有する。
【００１５】本発明のペーストの粘度はファーゴ社（Ｆ
ａｒｇｏ Ｃｏｍｐａｎｙ）、台湾、台北、から市販の
ＲＶＳ−Ｒｏｔａｒｙ ｖｉｓｃｏｍｅｔｅｒ（回転式
粘度計）で測定される。

【実施例】実施例１〜１２：ペーストを、半水和硫酸カ
ルシウム１０ｇおよび純水３．６ｍｌを２７℃で３０ｒ
ｐｍにて１分間混合することにより形成した。該ペース
トを撹乱せずにねかせた。次に５ｍｌのペーストを、射
出口の内径０．８ｍｍをもつ射出器を用いて、いろいろ
な取出し時間で取出し、そして直ちに１００ｍｌの塩水
を収容したビーカーの底に射出した。その後、塩水に射
出したペーストの硬化を射出から２０分後に観察した。
その結果を表１に示す。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 硫酸カルシウムを含む２０〜７５ポアズ
    の範囲の粘度を有するペーストを含有する、変形した骨
    の治療用の整形外科用充填材料。
  2. 【請求項２】 上記ペーストが３０〜６０ポアズの範囲
    の粘度を有する、請求項１に記載の充填材料。
  3. 【請求項３】 上記ペーストが、１５〜８０重量％の硫
    酸カルシウム；および残量の水、水溶液、水性分散液又
    は水性サスペンションを含む、請求項１に記載の充填材
    料。
  4. 【請求項４】 上記ペーストが２０〜７５重量％の硫酸
    カルシウムを含む、請求項３に記載の充填材料。
  5. 【請求項５】 上記ペーストが３０〜６０重量％の硫酸
    カルシウムを含む、請求項４に記載の充填材料。
  6. 【請求項６】 上記ペーストが、１５〜８０重量％の硫
    酸カルシウム半水和物（ＣａＳＯ4・０．５Ｈ2Ｏ）およ
    び８５〜２０重量％の水、水溶液、水性分散液又は水性
    サスペンションを混合し；得られた混合物を撹拌してペ
    ーストにすることにより調製される、請求項１に記載の
    充填材料。
