Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stop using gaskets, for installation at an entrance to prevent the flooding of buildings in many circumstances, or other systems for wide frontages, such as at parking garages, to cope with a recent increase in damage caused by the flooding of buildings and farm produces in heavy rain and the absence of countermeasures, particularly for houses, which may result from the fact that no inexpensive products have been developed for addressing these problems. SOLUTION: The use of a system comprising a lightweight yet strong sandwich panel and gaskets enables the water stop to be installed inside or outside of fittings in a house to prevent flooding from the fittings. A fence for preventing flooding is installed and this device is installed at a gate to prevent damage caused by flooding. To prevent backflow from sewers, other methods may be used.

[Claims] 1. A water stop panel (1) is fitted into gaskets (4) at both ends. 2. A panel (1) is mounted on the gasket frame (2) at both ends. 3. Since the panel (1) does not receive much moment at both ends, the panel (1) is made thin and easy to insert.
