In the joint treatment, a joint treatment material made of a powdery material, a fibrous material, or the like is fixed before the adhesive is cured. Alternatively, a method may be adopted in which, without using an adhesive, a joint treatment material composed of a powdery or granular material, a fibrous material, or the like is mixed in advance with a paint and applied. As the joint treatment material, an inorganic (organic) aggregate, an inorganic (organic) fiber, a rubber chip, or the like can be used. In particular, inorganic aggregates and inorganic fibers are more preferable than rubber chips in terms of weather resistance.

In the present invention, since no adhesive or paint is applied to the portions other than the joint portion 4, precision is not required for the joint treatment. That is, even if the joint treatment material is arranged other than the joint portion 4, the adhesive or the paint is not applied to the portion and the joint treatment material is not fixed. Therefore, if the panel substrate 2 is turned upside down (face down) after the joint processing, the unfixed joint processing material falls.

FIG. 10 is a sectional view showing a state in which an adhesive is applied to the entire surface of the panel substrate 6 shown in FIG. 8, and 12 indicates an adhesive layer. The adhesive is a water-soluble adhesive, and is applied to substantially the entire surface of the panel substrate. Even if the adhesive 12 is applied to substantially the entire surface of the panel substrate, the adhesive is repelled at the joints 4 due to the water repellency of the adhesive layer 11 applied to the joints 4. Therefore, the adhesive can be selectively applied to the bonding portion of the tile 5 on the surface of the panel substrate by a simple coating method, and the tile panel manufacturing process can be simplified. As a method of applying the adhesive, for example, a spray method can be adopted.
