Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body for rolling stock formed from a hollow extruded shape in which a buffer structure part is provided internally within a range not exceeding the size of the structural member to a great extent without adding any particular member to inside the car body and the part under the floor, etc. SOLUTION: The body of the rolling stock is formed from a hollow extruded shape 40 which is provided with buffer holes 51 and 52 at the end of a frame 30 likely to receive impact loads. The hollow shape 40 is arranged so that its longitudinal direction is identical to the longitudinal direction of the car body. The holes 51 and 52 are formed in face plates at certain intervals. The holes 51 and 52 may be located except a diagonal member 43 and the face plates 41 and 42 at the apex of a truss constituting the hollow shape. When an impact load is applied, buckling occurs in the part with holes 51 and 52 so that the impact is relieved. Thus impact to passengers can be minimized even in the event of train collision by only machining a part of the hollow shape, without changing the present car body structure substantially, and the safety can be heightened.

The underframe 30 comprises a plurality of hollow members 40 and large side beams 31 on both sides thereof. Further, a strength member for connecting a coupler is provided on a lower surface of an end portion of the vehicle body. The position of the hole 51 will be described. The hole 51 is in the face plate 41 on the upper surface. In the upper face plate 41, rectangular holes 51b are formed in the face plate 41, which is one side of the truss, at predetermined intervals along the extrusion direction. The hole 51b is shorter in the extrusion direction. Face plate 4 which is the side of the adjacent truss
1 also has a hole 51c. The holes 51c are arranged at predetermined intervals along the extrusion direction. The shape of the hole 51c is the same as the hole 51b. The hole 51c is between the adjacent holes 51b. That is, the hole 51 (the holes 51b, 5

Further, a hole 51 is provided at an end of a hollow member constituting the side structure 10 and the roof structure 20. The hole 51 is provided only on the inner surface side of the vehicle body in consideration of water and snow. The size and number of the holes 51 are determined in consideration of the strength of the side structure 10, the roof structure 20, the impact force, and the like.

This is a triangular second region closer to the bolster 35 than the line. Since this triangular region is located on the side surface of the center beam 36, there are two regions. Holes 51 and 52 are mainly provided in the first region and the second region. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, the pitch in the longitudinal direction and the width direction of the hole 51 in the region and a hole 52 described later are reduced, or the size of the holes 51 and 52 is reduced. Holes 51 and 52 may be provided outside the region.

The embodiment shown in FIGS. 12 to 14 will be described. The lower face plate 42 has no holes. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 11, the holes 51 and 52 are provided in the upper and lower face plates 41 and 42, so that a plate 59 for covering the holes 52 on the outside of the vehicle is required. The embodiment of FIG. 12 is intended to eliminate the plate 59. A hole 51e corresponding to the hole of the lower face plate 42 is provided in the upper face plate 41 (inside the vehicle). The hole 51e is provided in the face plate 41 on the side of the truss adjacent to the truss having the hole 51d. The hole 51e is provided centering on the vertex of the truss adjacent to the truss having the hole 51d. Diagonal members 43, 43 below the hole 51e (on the face plate 42 outside the vehicle) are removed. The size excluding the diagonal member 43 corresponds to the hole 51d. According to the present invention, it is possible to realize a vehicle body structure capable of absorbing an impact by simply processing a part of a hollow extruded profile without adding a special member inside the vehicle body and under the floor. it can. As a result, when the length of the car end structure and the dimensions of each structure are limited, the current body structure made of hollow extruded shapes is almost unchanged.
Even in the event of a sudden train collision, the impact force on passengers and occupants can be reduced to a minimum, and a highly safe railway vehicle can be provided.
