属繊維等の織物が好適に使用できる。また、シート基材
20として用いる不織布は、ガラス繊維、綿、レーヨン
等の原料繊維を接着もしくは絡み合わせ或いはその双方
を用いて機械的、化学的、加熱的もしくは溶媒を用いる
方法、或いはそれらの組み合わせによって作られたシー
ト状のものが使用できる。繊維原料としては、3〜50
mmにカットされた繊維を湿式抄紙もしくは乾式不織布
製造法によりマット化したものをバインダー樹脂で結合
したものが好適に使用できる。繊維原料としては、ガラ
ス繊維単独、もしくはガラス繊維とアルミナ繊維、アル
ミナシリカ繊維、炭素繊維、金属繊維等の無機系繊維
や、アラミド繊維、レーヨン繊維、ビニロン繊維、ナイ
ロン繊維、ポリエステル繊維、ポリプロピレン繊維、ポ
リエチレン繊維等の有機系繊維を単独もしくは複数混合
して用いることができる。シート基材20の坪量は10
〜1000g/m2 であることが好ましく。さらに好ま
しい坪量は50〜250g/m2 である。また、樹脂溶
液10としては、フェノール類とアルデヒド類との反応
により得られるフェノール樹脂が好適に使用できる。こ
のようなフェノール樹脂をシート基材20に固形分50
〜500g/m2 、好ましくは150〜350g/m 2
