Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも部分的に透明であり封入ガスを封入された放電容器(2)と、こ の放電容器(2)の壁の上又は中に配置された複数の電極(3〜5)と、少なく とも1つの電極(3〜5)と封入ガスとの間に位置し厚みdBi及び誘電率εBiを 有する1つ又は複数の層から成る少なくとも1つの誘電体バリヤ(6〜8)とを 備え、異なった極性の電極間で放電容器(2)内に誘電体妨害放電が生ずる放電 ランプ(1)において、放電容器(2)を少なくとも部分的に取囲む導電性の遮 蔽体(12、13)と、厚みdDi及び誘電率εDiを有する1つ又は複数の層から 成り遮蔽体(12、13)を少なくとも1つの電極(3〜5)から電気的に分離 する少なくとも1つの誘電体(2)とが設けられ、関係式 が満足されることを特徴とする放電ランプ(1)。 2.遮蔽体(12)がシャーシ電位、例えばアース電位にある請求項1記載の放 電ランプ。 3.遮蔽体が放電容器(2)の外壁の少なくとも一部分(9)に配置された透明 層(13)を含んでいる請求項1又は2記載の放電ランプ。 4.透明層(13)がインジウムーすず酸化物(ITO)から構成されている請 求項3記載の放電ランプ。 5.電極(3〜5)が放電容器(2)の内壁に配置され、遮蔽体(12、13) を電極(3〜5)から分離する誘電体が放電容器(2)の壁によって形成されて いる請求項1乃至4の1つに記載の放電ランプ。 6.遮蔽体(12)の少なくとも一部分が冷却リブ(14)を形成している請求 項1乃至5の1つに記載の放電ランプ。
