Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.電解質で汚染された地層を掘穿するための水ベースの掘穿泥水であって、 水と、 約91〜98重量%の、天然及び合成のナトリウムベースのベントナイト、カ ルシウムベースのベントナイト、モンモリロナイト、バイデル石(beidellite)、 ヘクトライト、サポナイト、ステベンサイト(stevensite)及びその混合物の類か ら選択された水膨潤性粘土ジェラン(gellant)を含む前記水と混合される組成 物と、 約1〜8重量%の、ナトリウム、カルシウム及びその混合物からなる群から選 択された水膨潤性アルカリ金属炭酸塩と、 約0.5〜4重量%の、未改質及び改質キサンタンガム、ウェランガム(wela n gum)、グアルガム(guar gum)、デキストランガム、イナゴマメガム(locus bean gum)、及びその混合物からなる類から選択された水膨潤性生重合体とを 含むことを特徴とする電解質で汚染された地層を掘穿するための水ベースの掘穿 用流体。 2.水と混合した前記組成物が、約94〜97重量%の細粒ナトリウムベントナ イト、約2〜40重量%の炭酸ナトリウム、及び約1〜2重量%のキサンタンガ ムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の掘穿用流体。 3.前記掘穿用流体が、約159リットル(1バレル)の水に対して約9kg( 約20ポンド)の前記組成物を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の掘穿用流 体。 4.前記組成物を水と混合して掘穿用流体を形成する前に、前記組成物の全ての 成分が混合されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の掘穿用流体。 5.前記組成物の一つ又はそれ以上の成分が、前記組成物の残りの成分 と予め混合されておらず直接水に混合されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の 掘穿用流体。 6.水と混合して水ベースの掘穿用流体を形成する組成物であって、 約91〜98重量%の、天然及び合成のナトリウムベントナイト、カルシウム ベントナイト、モンモリロナイト、バイデル石、ヘクトライト、サポナイト、ス テベンサイト、及びその混合物からなる類から選択された水膨潤性粘土ジェラン と、 約1〜8重量%のナトリウム、カルシウム、及びその混合物からなる類から選 択された水膨潤性アルカリ金属炭酸塩と、 約0.5〜4重量%の、未改質及び改質されたキサンタンガム、ウェランガム 、グアルガム、デキストランガム、イナゴマメガム、及びその混合物からなる類 から選択された水膨潤性生重合体とを含むことを特徴とする水と混合して水ベー スの掘穿用流体を形成する組成物。 7.前記粘土ジェランが、約94〜97重量%の細粒ナトリウムベントナイトを 含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の組成物。 8.前記アルカリ金属炭酸塩が、約2〜4重量%の炭酸ナトリウムを含むことを 特徴とする請求項7に記載の組成物。 9.前記生重合体が、約1〜2重量%のキサンタンガムを含むことを特徴とする 請求項8に記載の組成物。 10.水ベースの掘穿用流体を用いて横方向坑井を掘穿する方法であって、 水に加えることによって水ベースの掘穿用流体を形成するような組成物を混合 する過程と、 前記組成物を水に混合して水ベースの掘穿用流体を形成し、前記掘穿用流体を 用いて前記構成から繰粉を除去しつつ前記横方向の構成を掘穿する過程を含むこ とを特徴とし、 前記組成物が、 約91〜98重量%の、天然及び合成のナトリウムベースのベントナイト、 カルシウムベースのベントナイト、モンモリロナイト、バイデル石(beidellite )、ヘクトライト、サポナイト、ステベンサイト(stevensite)及びその混合物 の類から選択された水膨潤性粘土ジェラン(gellant)を含む前記水と混合され る組成物と、 約1〜8重量%の、ナトリウム、カルシウム及びその混合物からなる群から 選択された水膨潤性アルカリ金属炭酸塩と、 約0.5〜4重量%の、未改質及び改質キサンタンガム、ウェランガム(we lan gum)、グアルガム(guar gum)、デキストランガム、イナゴマメガム(loc us bean gum)、及びその混合物からなる類から選択された水膨潤性生重合体と を含むことを特徴とする水ベースの掘穿用流体を用いて横方向坑井を掘穿する方 法。 11.前記掘穿用流体が、約159リットル(1バレル)の水に対して約9kg (約20ポンド)の前記組成物を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法 。 12.水と混合した前記組成物が、約94〜97重量%の細粒ナトリウムベント ナイト、約2〜4重量%の炭酸ナトリウム、及び約1〜2重量%のキサンタンガ ムを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
