Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.籾殻灰、セラミック粘土バインダーおよび剥離剤を含んでなる、粒状の断熱 材料。 2.籾殻灰、米ぬか、セラミック粘土バインダーおよび剥離剤を含んでなる粒状 の断熱材料であって、該断熱材料が1000℃以上の温度にさらされたとき、該 断熱材料が剥離して膨張した粒状の材料を形成する、断熱材料。 3.粒状の断熱材料が、ペレット、ディスク、球形または粒状の形態である請求 の範囲第1項または第2項に記載の断熱材料。 4.籾殻灰70〜95乾燥重量%、セラミック粘土バインダー2〜20乾燥重量 %、米ぬか0.1〜10乾燥重量%、剥離剤0.1〜10乾燥重量%および水1 〜10重量%を含む請求の範囲第1項ないし第3項のいずれか1項に記載の断熱 材料。 5.籾殻灰85〜95乾燥重量%、セラミック粘土バインダー5〜15乾燥重量 %、米ぬか2〜5乾燥重量%、剥離剤0.2〜5乾燥重量%および水1〜5重量 %を含む請求の範囲第4項に記載の断熱材料。 6.籾殻灰約85乾燥重量%、セラミック粘土バインダー約5乾燥重量%、米ぬ か約5乾燥重量%、剥離剤約0.35乾燥重量%および水約4重量%を含む請求 の範囲第5項に記載の断熱材料。 7.セラミック粘土バインダーが、次の元素の範囲を含む耐火性粘土である請求 の範囲第1項ないし第6項のいずれか1項に記載の断熱材料。 SiO2<55%、Al2O3>20%、K2O<1%、Na2O<0.5% 8.剥離剤が、グラファイト、バーミキュライトおよびパーライトからなる群か ら選択される請求の範囲第1項ないし第7項のいずれか1項に記載の断熱材料。 9.剥離剤が、剥離性グラファイトである請求の範囲第8項に記載の断熱材料。 10.籾殻灰約85乾燥重量%、セラミック粘土バインダー約5乾燥重量%、米 ぬか約5乾燥重量%、剥離性グラファイト約0.35乾燥重量%および水約4重 量%を含む請求の範囲第1項ないし第9項のいずれか1項に記載の断熱材料。 11.(a)籾殻灰、セラミック粘土バインダー、米ぬかおよび剥離剤を混合し ; (b)水を上記混合物に加えスラリーを形成し; (c)上記スラリー混合物を粒状に成形し;および (d)材料を実質上乾燥させる; ステップを含む粒状の断熱材料の製造方法。 12.ステップ(b)において、水が混合物の20〜50重量%で加えられる請 求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 13.ステップ(b)において、水が混合物の30〜35重量%で加えられる請 求の範囲第12項に記載の方法。 14.ステップ(a)および(b)が、同じ装置内で行われる請求の範囲第11 項ないし13項のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 15.各成分を混合するための装置およびスラリーを形成するための装置が、ス ローリボンブレンダーである請求の範囲第14項に記載の方法。 16.造粒ステップ(c)が、ブリケット製造機、ディスクペレタイザーまたは 押出しペレット成形機において行われる請求の範囲第11項ないし第15項のい ずれか1項に記載の方法。 17.粒子が、4mm〜12mmの直径を有する実質上円筒状のペレットである 請求の範囲第11項ないし16項のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 18.ペレットが、8mmの直径および4〜20mmの長さを有する請求の範囲 第17項に記載の方法。 19.乾燥ステップ(d)が、100〜130℃の温度で行われる請求の範囲第 11項ないし18項のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 20.溶融鋼または金属に、請求の範囲第1項ないし第10項のいずれか1項に 記載の粒状の断熱材料を加え、該断熱材料が1000℃以上の温度にさらされた ときに剥離し、溶融鋼または金属上に断熱層を形成する溶融鋼または金属の断熱 方法。 21.溶融鋼または金属のための、請求の範囲第1項ないし第10項のいずれか 1項に記載の粒状の断熱材料の使用。
