Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.非晶質の強磁性材料より形成された1個あるいは複数個の縦長の延性を有す る磁気歪みテープによって構成され、このテープが磁気バイアス用磁界HBiasの 変化によって共振周波数の変化dfr/dHBiasを受け、さらに交流磁界によって 共振周波数frの際に縦方向の機械的共振振動を起され、この共振振動により生 じる機械的応力によってテープの磁化が変化し、それによって交流磁界の検知可 能な変化が生じる磁気式商品監視システムに用いられる表示素子において、 材料が飽和領域までできるだけ直線状に延びる平坦なB−H曲線を持ち、 この材料よりなるテープがその長さ方向に対して横方向に磁気異方性を持ち、 その異方性磁界強度Hanisoが磁気バイアス用磁界強度HBiasより大きく、 磁気バイアス用磁界強度の変化に対するテープの共振周波数の変化が dfr/dHBias≧1500Hz/Oeであり、 テープが磁界範囲dHBias≧80A/mにおいてQ≧100の共振Q値を持つ ことを特徴とする磁気式商品監視システムに用いられる表示素子。 2.非晶質の強磁性材料が、20ppm≦λs≦40ppmの飽和磁気歪み、ならびに200A /m≦Haniso≦800A/mの異方性磁界強度を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載 の表示素子。 3.非晶質の強磁性材料が式 FeaCObNicSidBeMf により構成される(但し、MはIIIA族乃至VA族および/あるいはIIIB族乃至VB 族の元素の少なくとも一つであり、a乃至fは原子パーセントで与えられ、a+ b+c<88、かつ、12≦d+e+f≦21の条件下において次の条件 20≦a≦74,1≦b≦8,1≦c≦50,0≦d≦10,(e≦20?),0≦f≦5 を満たす)ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の表示素子。 4.a)溶解物から非晶質の強磁性帯状体が鋳造されるステップ b)帯状体が帯状体の方向に対して横方向の磁界(横方向磁界)中で熱処理を 行われるステップ c)テープが切断されるステップ を含む請求項1に記載の表示素子の製造方法。 5.熱処理が連続的に行われることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の製造方法。 6.帯状体が300℃≦T≦440℃の温度で0.5sec≦t≦30secの熱処理時間の間加 熱されるように、走行速度が選定されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の 製造方法。 7.熱処理中にB−H曲線が測定され、熱処理時間および/あるいは走行速度お よび/あるいは温度が再調整されることを特徴とする請求項4乃至6のいずれか に記載の製造方法。 8.ステップa)の前に、非晶質の強磁性材料の組成が、製造されるテープの幅 に依存して調整されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の製造方法。
