Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. キンギョソウ(Anthirrhinum majus)由来のDefH9遺伝子のプロモーター またはキンギョソウのDefH9遺伝子に相同な遺伝子のプロモーターであって、該 プロモーターに連結したDNA配列の胎座および/または胚珠特異的発現を付与 可能であるプロモーターの、植物の単為結実もしくは雌性不稔を樹立するため、 または雌性発生の割合を高めるため、または結実および果実の生育を増進するた めの使用。 2. キンギョソウ由来のDefH9遺伝子のプロモーターが配列番号:1に記載の ヌクレオチド配列、または植物の胎座および/または胚珠での特異的発現を付与 可能なその一部を含有する請求項1記載の使用。 3. 単為結実が、植物細胞での発現の際に少なくとも1種のオーキシンの細胞 内含有量および/または活性の増加をもたらすDNA配列に該プロモーターを連 結することにより達成される請求項1または2記載の使用。 4. 該DNA配列が、植物細胞でのオーキシンの生合成に関与するタンパク質 をコードする請求項3記載の使用。 5. 該DNA配列が、植物細胞での発現の際にオーキシンまたはオーキシンの 前駆体の合成をもたらす、植物細胞で通常発現されないタンパク質をコードする 請求項3記載の使用。 6. 該DNA配列が細菌のタンパク質をコードする請求項5記載の使用。 7. 該DNA配列が、シュードモナス・シリンゲのiaaM遺伝子または他の生物 由来の機能的に同等なタンパク質をコードする遺伝子である請求項5または6記 載の使用。 8. 該DNA配列が、アグロバクテリウム・リゾゲネスのrolB遺伝子または他 の生物由来の機能的に同等なタンパク質をコードする遺伝子である請求項5また は6記載の使用。 9. 該DNA配列が、発現の際に、少なくとも1種のオーキシンのその複合型 からの放出増加をもたらすポリペプチドをコードする請求項3記載の使用。 10. 該DNA配列が、IAAとアミノ酸、ペプチドまたは炭水化物との複合 体を加水分解するタンパク質をコードする請求項9記載の使用。 11. 該DNA配列が、アミノヒドロラーゼ活性を有するILR1タンパク質をコ ードする請求項10記載の使用。 12. 該DNA配列が、植物細胞での発現の際に、少なくとも1種のオーキシ ンの分解または複合化の減少をもたらすことにより、少なくとも1種のオーキシ ンの細胞内含有量および/または活性の増加をもたらす、請求項3記載の使用。 13. 該DNA配列が、植物細胞で少なくとも1種のオーキシンの分解または 複合化に関与するタンパク質の転写物に対するアンチセンスRNAをコードする 請求項9記載の使用。 14. 雌性不稔が、発現の際に、発現される細胞の細胞死または不能をもたら すDNA配列に前記プロモーターを連結することにより達成される請求項1また は2記載の使用。 15. 該DNA配列が細胞死をもたらすタンパク質をコードする請求項14記 載の使用。 16. 該タンパク質がRNアーゼ、DNアーゼ、プロテアーゼおよび毒素からなる 群より選ばれたものである請求項15記載の使用。 17. 該DNA配列が、細胞の正常な機能に必要な遺伝子の発現を阻害するア ンチセンスRNAまたはリボザイムをコードする請求項14記載の使用。 18. (a)キンギョソウ由来のDefH9遺伝子のプロモーターまたは該遺伝子 に相同な遺伝子のプロモーターであって、胎座および/または胚珠特異的発現を 付与可能なプロモーター、ならびに (b)植物細胞での発現の際に少なくとも1種のオーキシンの細胞内含有量およ び/または活性の増加をもたらす、前記プロモーターに操作可能に連結したDN A配列、 を含有してなる組換えDNA分子。 19. 該プロモーターが請求項2に規定されたプロモーターである請求項18 記載の組換えDNA分子。 20. 該DNA配列が請求項3〜13いずれかに規定されたDNA配列である 、請求項18または19記載の組換えDNA分子。 21. 請求項18〜20いずれか記載の組換えDNA分子で形質転換された宿 主細胞。 22. 請求項18〜20いずれか記載の組換えDNA分子を含有してなる植物 細胞。 23. 請求項22記載の植物細胞を含有してなる植物。 24. 請求項22記載の植物細胞を含有してなる請求項23記載の植物の器官 。 25. 果実、種子またはあらゆる種類の繁殖物質である請求項24記載の植物 の器官。 26.(a)キンギョソウ由来のDefH9遺伝子のブロモーターまたは該遺伝子に 相同な遺伝子のプロモーターであって、胎座および/または胚珠特異的発現を付 与可能なプロモーター、ならびに (b)植物細胞での発現の際に該細胞の不能または細胞死をもたらす、前記プロ モーターに操作可能に連結したDNA配列、 を含有してなる組換えDNA分子。 27. 該プロモーターが請求項2に規定されたプロモーターである請求項25 記載の組換えDNA分子。 28. 該DNA配列が請求項15〜17いずれかに規定されたDNA配列であ る、請求項26または27記載の組換えDNA分子。 29. 請求項26〜28いずれか記載の組換えDNA分子で形質転換された宿 主細胞。 30. 請求項26〜28いずれか記載の組換えDNA分子を含有してなる植物 細胞。 31. 請求項30記載の植物細胞を含有してなる植物。 32. 請求項30記載の植物細胞を含有してなる請求項31記載の植物の器官 。
