Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.相対的に盛上がった部分と窪んだ部分、並びにその間にある遷移部分を備 えたレリーフパターン上に符号化された情報を有する表面の非接触読取り装置で あって、: 前記表面の垂線に対して第1の角度で前記レリーフパターン上に光をライン状 に投射する投光手段と; 前記表面の垂線に対して第2の角度で前記投射された光のラインを観測し、前 記レリーフパターンの前記盛上り部分と窪んだ部分の間にある遷移部分に投射さ れた光のラインの視差変位を含む該レリーフパターからの反射光の像を示す信号 を発生する受光手段と; 前記受光手段に結合され、前記像における視差変位を示す前記信号の特性を検 出すると共に、この視差変位に応答する出力を有する検出手段と;を備え、 前記検出手段の前記出力は前記レリーフパターンの遷移部分に応答することを 特徴とする前記レリーフパターンに符号化された情報を有する表面の非接触読取 り装置。 2.前記受光手段及び前記投光手段は、前記表面に対し実質的に平行な平面に 配置される請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 3.前記検出手段に結合され、検出された視差変位のパターンをレリーフパタ ーンに含まれる復号化された情報を示す電気的信号に変換する復号化手段を更に 含む請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 4.前記復号化手段がディジタイザ及びマイクロプロセッサを含む請求の範囲 第3項に記載の装置。 5.前記受光手段は: 二次元に配列され、且つ入射光のエネルギーに応答する出力を有する複数の光 センサと; 前記センサ上に焦点が合わせられた前記反射光の像を投射する光学手段と、 を含む請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 6.前記受光手段は、光軸を有し、前記直線配列は該光軸に直角な平面に対し 傾斜角度φで配置される請求の範囲第5項に記載の装置。 7.前記投光手段は、前記表面上に延在する実質的に長方形である領域を照射 する光の扇形ビームを発生する請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 8.前記レリーフパターンは盛上がった部分と窪んだ部分との間に高さの差を 有し、前記投光手段は該レリーフパターン上に実質的に長方形領域を定めるよう に該レリーフパターンを横切って光のスポットを掃引する請求の範囲第1項に記 載の装置。 9.前記受光手段は: 直線上に配列され、且つ入射光のエネルギーに応答する出力を有する複数の光 センサと; この直線配列上に焦点が合わせられた前記光のスポットの像を投射する光学手 段と、を備え; 前記表面上の視差変位は前記直線配列に沿う前記焦点が合わせられた像の変位 によって示される請求の範囲第8項に記載の装置。 10.前記受光手段は光軸を有し、前記直線配列は該光軸に垂直な平面に対し 傾斜角度φで配置される請求の範囲第9項に記載の装置。 11.相対的に盛上がった部分と窪んだ部分、並びにその間に遷移部分を備え たレリーフパターンに符号化された情報を有する表面の読取り方法であって、: 前記表面の垂線に対し第1の角度で光のビームをレリーフパター ンに向けて投射する過程と; 前記表面の垂線に対し第2の角度で前記投射光の表面からの反射光を検出し、 前記反射光の空間パターンを示す第1の信号を発生する過程と; 前記空間パターンに於ける視差変位を示す前記第1の信号の特性を検出すると 共に、この特性に応答する第2の信号を発生する過程とを備え; 前記第2の信号はレリーフパターンの遷移部分を示すことを特徴とするレリー フパターンに符号化された情報を有する表面の読取り方法。 12.前記第2の信号を復号化する過程を更に含む請求の範囲第11項に記載 の方法。 13.前記光を投射する過程は、前記表面を横切って光のスポットを掃引する ことによって行われる請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 14.前記光を投射する過程は、前記表面上にライン状の照明が生ずるように 扇形の光ビームを該表面に焦点を合わせることによって行われる請求の範囲第1 1項に記載の方法。
