- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.所定の動作領域に渡って連続的に制御可能な車両パワートレインに関し、 2つの動力ユニットと、 外部メイントランスミッションと内部差動歯車組立体を含む動力トランスミッ ションユニットであって、 前記メイントランスミッションは回転動力を受け取るとめの動力ユニットに各 々連結した2つの回転入力手段を有し、前記2つの入力手段は回転出力手段に連 結して前記出力手段の回転速度が前記2つの入力手段の回転速度の代数平均に比 例して変化できるようにし、 前記差動歯車組立体は前記メイントランスミッションの内部に配置されて、2 つの差動回転出力手段に連結した回転入力手段を有し、前記メイントランスミッ ションの出力手段と前記差動歯車組立体の入力手段は連結されている動力トラン スミッションユニットと、 指令入力を受けるための手段と前記パワートレインの動作に関連した性能パラ メータを決定する手段を含む制御手段であって、前記性能パラメータは前記2つ の動力ユニットの各々の負荷と、前記メイントランスミッションの2つの入力手 段の各々の回転速度と、前記差動歯車組立体の2つの出力手段の各々の負荷と、 前記差動歯車組立体の2つの出力手段の各々の回転速度を含む制御手段と、 を備え、前記制御手段は指令入力に応答して前記性能パラメータを連続的に監 視し、分析し、調節するための閉ループフィードバック制御を行うことを特徴と する車両パワートレイン。 2.前記2つの動力ユニットは内燃機関タイプ又は電動モータタイプの範囲で 同種又は異種の組合せのものを含むことを特徴とする 請求項1に記載の車両パワートレイン。 3.前記2つの動力ユニットはオットーサイクル機関、デイーゼル機関、ロー タリー機関、及びガスタービン機関を含む組から選択されることを特徴とする請 求項2に記載の車両パワートレイン。 4.前記2つの動力ユニットはその回転動力出力手段が端対端の関係で同軸状 に整列するように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかlつに 記載の車両パワートレイン。 5.前記2つの動力ユニットの回転動力出力手段は同じ方向に回転することを 特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両パワートレイン。 6.前記2つの動力ユニットの一方は定速電動モータを含み、他方は可変速機 関を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載の車両パワート レイン。 7.一方の動力ユニットは実質的に一定の入力を提供し、他方動力ユニットは ピーク動力要求及び/又はブレーキを提供するために使用されることを特徴とす る請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載の車両パワートレイン。 8.前記2つの動力ユニットの回転動力出力手段の少なくとも1つは前記動力 トランスミッションユニットのメイントランスミッションの入力手段にクラッチ 手段により選択的に連結されることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1つ に記載の車両パワートレイン。 9.前記動力ユニットはオットー機関又はデイーゼル機関を含むみ、前記動力 トランスミッションユニットは前記2つの動力ユニットの下方中心に位置するこ とを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載の車両パワートレイン。 10.前記動力ユニットはロータリー、ガスタービン又は電動機関を含み、前 記動力トランスミッションユニットは前記2つの動力 ユニットの間の中心に、前記動力出力手段が中空ローター又はタービン軸の中心 を通る状態で装着されることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載 の車両パワートレイン。 11.前記動力ユニットは中空軸状のホットケーキタイプのロータリー機関又 はガスタービンであることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の車両パワートレイン 。 12.前記動力トランスミッションユニットのハウジングは前記2つの動力ユ ニットの共通ケーシングと一体的のものであることを特徴とする請求項9から1 0のいずれか1つに記載の車両パワートレイン。 13.前記2つの動力ユニットは少なくとも1つの内燃ピストン機関を含み、 前記マイクロプロセッシング制御ユニットにより連続的に制御される性能パラメ ータは更に性能パラメータを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から12のいずれか 1つに記載の車両パワートレイン。 14.各内燃ピストン機関に固有の前記性能パラメータはマニホルドブースト 圧力、機関トルク、機関RPM、燃料混合物、スパークタイミング、弁タイミン グ、可変取入口マニホルド形状、燃焼室条件、圧縮比率、及び排出ガス化学物質 の組から選択されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の車両パワートレイン。 15.前記2つの動力ユニットは2つの別個のクランクシャフトを有して少な くとも何らかの補助的要素を共有する内燃機関により形成されることを特徴とす る請求項1から14のいずれか1つに記載の車両パワートレイン。 16.前記2つの動力ユニットのうちの少なくとも1つは可変排気量燃焼室及 び/又は予備燃焼室を有する内燃機関であることを特徴とする請求項1から15 のいずれか1つに記載の車両パワートレ イン。 17.記動力トランスミッションユニットのメイントランスミッションは歯車 装置を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から15のいずれか1つに記載の車両パワ ートレイン。 18.前記メイントランスミッションの2つの入力手段は第1の軸を中心に回 転するように配置された第1の傘形歯車と遊星歯車組立体を含むことを特徴とす る請求項17に記載の車両パワートレイン。 19.前記遊星歯車組立体は内部に配置されて前記第1の軸に垂直の軸を有す る遊星傘形ピニオン歯車を回転可能に支持する輪形ピストンキャリアを含むこと を特徴とする請求項18に記載の車両パワートレイン。 20.前記第1の傘形歯車と輪形ピストンキャリアは前記2つの動力ユニット に各々個々に連結可能であることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の車両パワート レイン。 21.前記メイントランスミッションの出力手段は前記第1の軸に垂直の軸を 中心に回転する第2の傘形歯車を含むことを特徴とする請求項17から20いず れか1つに記載の車両パワートレイン。 22.前記差動歯車組立体の出力手段は同軸状に配置されて前記差動ピニオン 歯車と噛み合って前記第1の軸を中心に回転する2つの差動傘形則歯車を含むこ とを特徴とする請求項21に記載の車両パワートレイン。 23.前記メイントランスミッションの第1及び第2の傘形歯車は各々中心に 形成されて軸方向に延長する穴を有し、前記差動歯車組立体の差動傘形則歯車は 2つの同軸状に整列した動力入力部材の対向端に中心にて装着されて前記メイン トランスミッションの第1及び第2の傘形歯車の穴を通って軸方向に外報へ延長 することを特 徴とする請求項22に記載の車両パワートレイン。 24.前記メイントランスミッションは差動フレームにより前記差動歯車組立 体に連結され、前記差動フレームは前記メイントランスミッションの第2の傘形 歯車に連結されて前記差動歯車組立体の差動ピニオン歯車を担持することを特徴 とする請求項22又は23に記載の車両パワートレイン。 25.外部メイントランスミッションと内部差動歯車組立体を含む車両動力ト ランスミッションユニットであって、前記メイントランスミッションは回転出力 手段に連結した回転入力手段を有して前記出力手段の回転速度が2つの入力手段 の速度の代数平均値比例して変化できるようにし、前記差動歯車組立体は前記メ イントランスミッションの内部に配置されて、2つの差動回転出力手段に連結し た回転入力手段を有し、前記メイントランスミッションの出力手段と前記差動歯 車組立体の入力手段は連結されることを特徴とする車両動力トランスミッション ユニット。 26.前記メイントランスミッションの2つの入力手段は同軸状に配置されて 第1の軸を中心に回転する第1の傘形歯車と遊星歯車組立体を含むことを特徴と する請求項25に記載の車両動力トランスミッションユニット。 27.前記遊星歯車組立体は内部に配置されて前記第1の軸に垂直の軸を有す る遊星傘形ピニオン歯車を回転可能に支持する輪形ピニオンキャリアを含むこと を特徴とする請求項26に記載の車両動力トランスミッションユニット。 28.前記第1の傘形歯車と輪形ピニオンキャリアは各々個々に前記2つの動 力ユニットに連結可能であることを特徴とする請求項27に記載の車両動力トラ ンスミッションユニット。 29.前記メイントランスミッションの出力手段は前記第1の軸 に垂直の軸を中心に回転する第2の傘形歯車を含むことを特徴とする請求項26 から28のいずれか1つに記載の車両動力トランスミッションユニット。 30.前記差動歯車組立体の出力手段は同軸状に配置されて前記差動ピニオン 歯車と噛み合って前記第1の軸を中心に回転する2つの差動傘形則歯車を含むこ とを特徴とする請求項29に記載の車両動力トランスミッションユニット。 31.前記メイントランスミッションの第1及び第2の傘形歯車は各々中心に 形成されて軸方向に延長する穴を有し、前記差動歯車組立体の2つの差動傘形則 歯車は、前記メイントランスミッションの第1及び第2の傘形歯車の穴を通って 軸方向外方へ延長する2つの同軸状に整列した動力出力部材の対向端に中心にて 装着されることを特徴とする請求項30に記載の車両動力トランスミッションユ ニット。 32.前記メイントランスミッションは前記差動歯車組立体に差動フレームに より連結され、前記差動フレームは前記メイントランスミッションの第2の傘形 歯車に連結して前記差動歯車組立体の差動ピニオン歯車を担持することを特徴と する請求項30又は31に記載の車両動力トランスミッションユニット。
