Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.単数又は複数の光線源(1)、光線の強度及び方向を変調させるための手段 、光線に対し非透過性でなく光線が平坦層の側面内へと導かれた時点で各々の 光線に沿って或る位置で光の発出を可能にする材料のパネル(2)及びかかる 位置を選択するための手段(3)を含んで成る表示装置。 2.光線が可視光線であり、パネル(2)からの光の発出は、選択された位置で の光線の偏向によってもたらされる、請求項1に記載のフラットパネル表示装 置。 3.偏向用手段が、パネル(2)内で局在化された音波又は表面波を生成するた めのデバイスを含み、一定の与えられた位置における波の存在が光線の偏向を ひき起こす、請求項2に記載のフラットパネル表示装置。 4.偏向位置を選択するための手段は、音波又は表面波を励起し、光線が発出さ れる前にそれが必要とされる位置に達するまで待機するよう適合されている、 請求項3に記載のフラットパネル表示装置。 5.パネル(2)の片面には、切換可能な形で反射性であるか又は透過性である 1つの層(4)が存在し、偏向光線がパネルから発出される位置を選択するた めの手段は、切換可能な層の状態を変更するように適合されている、請求項2 に記載のフラットパネル表示装置。 6.光線の強度及び方向を変調するための手段には、単線ビデオプロジェクタ( 1)が含まれ、選択手段は、ビデオプロジェクタからのラインを表示するべく 一度に1本のパネルのラインを選択する、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載 のフラットパネル表示装置。 7.ビデオプロジェクタ手段が、単線3次元表示を生成するように適合されてお り、この目的で、異なる角度で見た画像の1ラインを表示するように各々が適 合されている1セットの個々の単線プロジェクタを含んでいる、請求項6に記 載のフラットパネル表示装置。 8.可変的光路長を適用するための手段をさらに含んで成り、光路にはレトロリ フレクタが含まれ、かくして、パネル内のさまざまなラインに対する合計光路 長がほぼ一定にとどまるようになっている、請求項6又は7に記載のフラット パネル表示装置。 9.反射性と透過性の間で切換可能な1つの層が片面に存在する全内部反射のた めの透過性層(25)が可変長の光路に含まれている、請求項8に記載のフラ ットパネル表示装置。 10.変調可能な材料の平坦な層(2)の側面内に光が導かれ、この材料は、画像 を組立てるべく層の平面全体にわたる発出をひき起こすように変調させられる 、画像を表示する方法。
