Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 少なくとも1種類の硬化性樹脂を含浸した繊維状基材を含む非アスベス ろト摩擦材料であって、該繊維状基材が、カナダ標準ろ水度(CSF)指数で少 なくとも450のろ水度を有する複数のフィブリル化の少ないアラミド繊維の第 一層;合成グラファイトおよび少なくとも1種類の充填材;および第一層の少な くとも一つの表面上の炭素粒子および少なくとも1種類の保持助剤を含む第二層 を含む上記摩擦材料。 2. 保持助剤がラテックス材料を含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 3. 保持助剤が樹脂質を含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 4. 保持助剤がサイズ剤を含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 5. 保持助剤が、炭素粒子の約2重量%〜約28重量%の量で存在する請求 項1に記載の摩擦材料。 6. 炭素粒子の第二層が、摩擦材料に対して高耐熱性を与える約10ミクロ ン〜約50ミクロンの厚みおよび実質的に均一の摩擦係数で存在する請求項1に 記載の摩擦材料。 7. 第二層が、繊維状基材の重量に基づき、約0.2重量%〜約30重量% の炭素粒子を含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 8. 第二層が、繊維状基材の重量に基づき、約5重量%〜約15重量%の炭 素粒子を含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 9. 第二層が、繊維状基材の重量に基づき、約3重量%〜約5重量%の炭素 粒子を含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 10.炭素粒子が、第一層の表面積の約3%〜約90%を被覆する請求項1に 記載の摩擦材料。 11.炭素粒度が、約6ミクロン〜約50ミクロンである請求項1に記載の摩 擦材料。 12.フィブリル化の少ないアラミド繊維が、カナダ標準ろ水度指数で約30 0〜700のろ水度を有する請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 13.フィブリル化の少ないアラミド繊維が、約3mm〜6mmの範囲の平均 繊維長を有する請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 14.合成グラファイトが、約2800℃〜3,000℃の温度での黒鉛化に よって製造されていて且つ直径約20ミクロン〜約50ミクロンの寸法を有する 請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 15.充填材が珪藻土を含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 16.繊維状基材が、直径約2.5ミクロン〜約12ミクロンの平均寸法であ る細孔を画成している請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 17.摩擦材料が、少なくとも約50%の容易に利用可能な気孔率を有する請 求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 18.約10重量%〜約50重量%のフィブリル化の少ないアラミド繊維;約 10重量%〜約35重量%の合成グラファイト;約20重量%〜約45重量%の 充填材;および約0.2重量%〜約20重量%の炭素粒子を含む請求項1に記載 の摩擦材料。 19.重量%で約20重量%〜約30重量%のフィブリル化の少ないアラミド 繊維;約15重量%〜約35重量%の合成グラファイト;約20重量%〜約30 重量%の充填材;約0重量%〜約40重量%の綿繊維;および約2重量%〜約2 0重量%の炭素粒子を含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 20.繊維状基材が、約20重量%〜約40重量%の綿繊維を含む請求項12 に記載の摩擦材料。 21.第一層が、第一層の重量に基づき、約1重量%〜約5重量%のラテック スバインダーを含む請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 22.摩擦材料が、約25重量%〜約60重量%の樹脂を含む請求項14に記 載の摩擦材料。 23.フェノール樹脂または変性フェノール樹脂を含浸した請求項1に記載の 摩擦材料。 24.フェノール樹脂およびシリコーン樹脂の混合物であって、該混合物中の シリコーン樹脂の量が、該混合物の重量に基づき、約5重量%〜約80重量%で ある上記混合物を含浸した摩擦材料であって、高耐熱性および実質的に均一の摩 擦係数を示す請求項1に記載の摩擦材料。 25.フェノール樹脂が溶媒材料中に存在し且つシリコーン樹脂が、フェノー ル樹脂の溶媒材料と相溶性である溶媒材料中に存在している請求項24に記載の 摩擦材料。 26.シリコーン−フェノール樹脂混合物中に存在するシリコーン樹脂の量が 、該混合物の重量に基づき、約20重量%〜約25重量%である請求項24に記 載の摩擦材料。 27.シリコーン−フェノール樹脂混合物中に存在するシリコーン樹脂の量が 、該混合物の重量に基づき、約15重量%〜約25重量%である請求項24に記 載の摩擦材料。 28.変性フェノール樹脂がエポキシフェノール樹脂を含む請求項23に記載 の摩擦材料。 29.エポキシフェノール樹脂中に存在するエポキシ樹脂の量が、エポキシフ ェノール樹脂の重量に基づき、約5重量%〜約25重量%である請求項28に記 載の摩擦材料。 30.エポキシフェノール樹脂中に存在するエポキシ樹脂の量が、エポキシフ ェノール樹脂の重量に基づき、約10重量%〜約15重量%である請求項28に 記載の摩擦材料。 31.非アスベスト摩擦材料を製造する方法であって、フィブリル化の少ない アラミド繊維を合成グラファイトおよび少なくとも1種類の充填材と混合して繊 維状基材を形成し、該繊維状基材の少なくとも一つの表面を炭素粒子および少な くとも1種類の保持助剤の混合物で被覆し、該炭素粒子で被覆された繊維状基材 に少なくとも1種類のフェノール樹脂または変性フェノール樹脂を含浸させた後 、該含浸した繊維状基材を所定の温度で所定の時間硬化させることを含む上記方 法。 32.非アスベスト摩擦材料を製造する方法であって、フェノール樹脂をシリ コーン樹脂と混合し、請求項1に記載の繊維状基材にシリコーン−フェノール樹 脂混合物を含浸させた後、該含浸した繊維状基材を加熱して該フェノール樹脂お よび該シリコーン樹脂を硬化させることを含む上記方法。 33.非アスベスト摩擦材料を製造する方法であって、繊維状基材の少なくと も一つの表面を炭素粒子および少なくとも1種類の保持助剤の混合物で被覆し、 該炭素粒子で被覆された繊維状基材に少なくとも1種類のフェノール樹脂または 変性フェノール樹脂を含浸させた後、該含浸した繊維状基材を所定の温度で所定 の時間硬化させることを含む上記方法。
