The horizontal transport section is held by a boom that pivots and raises and lowers, and the vertical transport section is supported by a swing frame or a vertical frame pivotally attached to the tip of the boom and swings in a vertical plane. . Although the granular material is sandwiched between the superposed belts, the granular material also adheres to the upper or lower outer surface of the belt, and is sent to the leading end side by the horizontal transport unit as the belt travels. The belt deposits fall and scatter from the end of the boom, and dust is also generated with the transport operation. Conventionally, a buffer plate such as a rubber plate is attached to the end of the boom in order to prevent such particles from falling and scattering from the end of the boom. Is known to be dropped into a vertical frame of the image.

FIG. 11 is a partial schematic view showing a conventional powder-fall preventing structure in this type of twin-belt transfer machine. An upper end portion of a vertical frame 6 is pivotably supported at a tip end portion of a boom 5 extending in a horizontal direction from a turning frame (not shown), and the boom 5 is provided with a horizontal transport section 10 comprising a double belt conveyor, and The upper and lower transport units 11 are held by the frame 6, respectively. In this case, the return belt on the upper belt conveyor of the double belt conveyor viewed from the horizontal transport section 10 is an upper return belt 15 here.
The return belt of the lower belt conveyor is referred to as a lower return belt 16. In the upper and lower conveyors 11, the belt on the return side of the belt conveyor located on the original side of the double belt conveyor, that is, on the inner side of the conveyor (the revolving frame side), becomes the lower return belt 16, and the outer side (for example, the sea side) The belt on the return side of the belt conveyor located at the side of the upper side becomes the upward return belt 15. The upper end of a rubber plate 17 of an appropriate length is fixed to the tip of the boom 5, whereby the rubber plate 17 is suspended in a “goodwill” state along the return belt 15.

Although the above-mentioned rubber goodwill type dust-preventing structure has a certain effect on the upturning belt portion as a primary buffering function against the falling of the granular material, a certain effect is recognized. Some powder particles scatter to the side after colliding with the plate, which is not enough to completely prevent powder falling and scattering.
Further, the granular material does not collide with the rubber plate against the downward return belt, and the effect cannot be expected. It has no effect on dust generation. The rubber plate is fixed at the upper end to the undulating boom of the horizontal transport unit and is merely suspended from the end of the boom, and when strong wind or turning of the boom, dusting does not hit the rubber plate due to the undulating operation. There is also. Further, there are many problems such as lack of followability with respect to the boom undulating operation and the vertical frame swing operation.

In the above embodiment, the upper and lower seal belts 2
The upper ends of 0 and 21 are fixed to the up-and-down boom 5, and the weight 35 is attached to the lower end to extend in a downwardly tensioned state. The weight 35 slides on the vertical frame 6 when the vertical transport unit 11 swings. However, in another embodiment of the present invention, the lower end of each of the upper and lower seal belts 20 and 21 may be fixed to the vertical frame 6 and the upper end may be pulled up by an appropriate pulling means. FIG. 10 is a schematic view of the dust / dropping scattering prevention device in this case. Upper and lower seal belt 2
The lower ends 20a, 21a of the reference numerals 0, 21 are fixed to the vertical frame 6, and extend upward along the vertical frame 6, and the upper seal belt 20 passes through the upper seal belt bend pulley 32 to the upper seal belt side of the arc-shaped side cover 26. It extends along the arc-shaped guide rail 30 and is bent by a bend pulley 50 at the tip of the up-and-down boom, passes through the cover on the upper surface of the up-and-down boom 5, and is connected to a belt tensioning device 52 near the boom base. Similarly, a lower end of the lower seal belt 21 is fixed to the vertical frame 6, extends along the lower seal belt side arc-shaped guide rail 31 via the lower seal belt bend pulley 33, and extends along the lower seal belt side. From the bend pulley 51 at the upper end of the arc-shaped guide rail 31, it is connected to the belt tensioning device 53 on the base portion along the undulating boom 5.

In this embodiment as well, the hanging portions of the upper and lower seal belts 20 and 21 swing with the swinging operation of the vertical frame 6, but the upper and lower seal belts 20 and 21 are always restored by the respective belt tensioning devices 52 and 53. The belts 20 and 2 extend from the vertical transport unit 11 to the horizontal transport unit 10 by the swinging operation of the vertical transport unit 11 because the belts 20 and 2
1 does not occur, and the seal belts 20, 21
Swings following the swing of the vertical transport unit 11.
Also in this embodiment, a lower side cover 40 that closes the side portions of the upper and lower seal belts 20 and 21 is provided below the arc-shaped side cover 26, thereby covering the periphery of the bent portion of the double belt conveyor 12, Even when the vertical transport unit 11 swings, the upper and lower return belts 15, 1
Scattering of the powder and particles falling from around 6 and dust are prevented. In this embodiment, the weight 35 at the lower end of the seal belt, its guide roller 36, and the double guide rail 37 are unnecessary, and the upper and lower seal belts 20 and 21 are not required.
It is not necessary to provide a supporting roller means (for example, the disc-shaped roller 38 in FIG. 7) at the lower part of the vertical transport section 11, so that the vertical transport section 11 becomes thin, and the scraping section provided at the lower end of the vertical transport section 11 is hatched. The cargo can be moved closer to the side in the hidden hold, and cargo handling efficiency can be improved. The belt tensioning devices 52 and 53 on the horizontal transport section 10 are not limited to the spring type or the weight type as shown in the figure. For example, the upper ends of the respective seal belts 20 and 21 are connected to a piston rod of a cylinder device. Alternatively, the entire seal belt may be held in tension from the horizontal transport unit 10 to the vertical transport unit 11.

As described above, according to the present invention, the four sides of the periphery of the conveyor at the place where dusting and dusting occur are completely surrounded by the sealing structure, so that the upper and lower sides of the belt conveyor are provided. The powder particles adhered to the surface of the return belt are prevented from scattering around the dust and generating dust when the powder is dropped, thereby enabling safe and environmentally conscious operation. The seal structure follows the operation of the conveyer unit that turns and swings, and does not inadvertently swing due to a strong wind or the like. In this respect, reliable and safe operation is ensured. No power is required for the follow-up operation with respect to the transport unit. Also, despite the structure surrounding the transport unit, the outer shape of the transport unit does not increase and is applicable to a narrow discharge location. When used as an unloader for ships, there are many advantages, such as a dust / dropping scattering prevention device having a wide application range from large ships to small ships.
