BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a blood collection device, and more particularly, to puncturing one end of a needle tube into a blood vessel of a subject and connecting the other end to a vacuum blood collection tube to respond to a negative pressure in the vacuum blood collection tube. The present invention relates to a blood collection device including a blood collection needle capable of collecting a large amount of blood, and a blood collection tube holder for easily attaching a vacuum blood collection tube to the blood collection needle. According to the blood collection device of the present invention, it is possible to confirm that one end of the needle tube has been punctured into the vein of the subject before the other end of the needle tube communicates with the vacuum blood collection tube.

[0003] As such a blood collection needle, for example, a substantially cylindrical hub, a needle tube having a sharp tip extending from both ends in the axial direction of the hub, and a hub attached to the hub so as to surround one end of the needle tube. It consists of a bottomed tubular elastic cap fitted,
A blood sampling needle is provided in the hub with a ventilation hole for communicating the inside and the outside of the elastic cap, and an air-permeable blood impermeable filter is provided in an external opening 45 of the ventilation hole (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4333253, No. 4364831,
JP-A-7-379, JP-A-8-150134, etc.). These blood collection needles, while piercing the blood collection needle into the vein of the subject, to release air so that blood flows into the blood collection needle to confirm flashback, An air-permeable, blood-impermeable filter is provided to prevent leakage to the outside. As the air-permeable blood-impermeable filter, a membrane filter, a sintered filter, or the like is used. However, all of them are expensive and fragile, so that care must be taken when handling them.

[0004] In consideration of the above problems, a blood collection device or a blood collection needle capable of confirming flashback without using an air-permeable blood-impermeable filter has been developed (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 6-1994).
-7330, JP-A-11-169359). In the blood collection device disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. H6-7330, a pressure changing means is provided in a blood collection tube holder, and a blood collection needle is placed in a vein of a subject with the pressure inside the elastic cap being negative. The flashback can be confirmed by utilizing the action of trying to return the pressure inside the elastic cap to normal pressure by puncturing and then releasing the pressure changing means. However, because the structure of the transformer is complicated,
Manufacturing costs increase. Further, by providing the pressure transforming means and using an elastic cap having an internal volume in which the pressure can be varied by the pressure transforming means, the blood collecting instrument becomes large in size and is not practical.

On the other hand, in a vacuum blood collection needle disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-169359, a lumen is formed in a hub, and when the blood collection needle is punctured into a vein of a subject, the blood pressure in the blood vessel causes the blood collection needle. When air in the lumen is compressed and blood flows into the lumen, flashback can be confirmed. However, the vacuum blood collection needle also needs to have a large volume in order for blood to flow into the lumen due to blood pressure in a blood vessel, and the shape of the vacuum blood collection needle becomes large.

The inventor of the present invention has made various studies to solve the above-mentioned problems. As a result, the blood sampling needle was replaced with an elastic member instead of the air-permeable blood-impermeable filter conventionally provided. By providing a member that pushes down the elastic member to allow the inside of the blood collection needle to communicate with the external atmosphere on the blood collection tube holder attached to the base end of the blood collection tube, the structure is simple and the flashback can be easily confirmed. The inventors have found that a device can be obtained, and arrived at the present invention.

Further, a rib 48 as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 4 may be provided on the outer periphery of the distal end side of the hub 4. The rib 48 is used to engage with a needle cap (not shown) to prevent the blood collection needle 2 from rotating in the needle cap. FIG.
As shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 4, the screw portion 46 of the blood collection needle 2 and the opening 71 of the blood collection tube holder 7 are incompletely screwed by interposing the opening of the ventilation hole 44 so that the tab 73 and the projection are not provided. Even if the 74 is shifted left and right from a predetermined position, the projection 74 is guided to the opening of the ventilation hole 44 by the rib 48 and the elastic member 6 can be pushed down.

Further, the blood collection device 1 of the present invention may use a blood collection needle 3 having a hole 33 on a side surface as shown in FIG. When the blood collection needle 3 having the hole 33 is used, the blood flowing into the needle tube 3 when confirming flashback passes through the hole 33 and the communication hole 43 and the ventilation hole earlier than flowing into the elastic cap 5. Since it flows into 44, flashback can be confirmed quickly.

The blood collection device of the present invention does not require a conventional air-permeable blood-impermeable filter as a means for confirming flashback, so that the manufacturing cost is very low. In addition, since the blood collection needle is provided with an elastic member and the blood collection tube holder is provided with a tab and a projection, flashback can be confirmed, and there is no possibility that the shape becomes large.
