Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain wall preventing rainwater from entering through joints. SOLUTION: A horizontal joint HJ and a vertical joint VJ between panels 30 are closed by gaskets 50 and 10, respectively. The gasket 10 for the vertical joint has a projection 12 in the center along its cross direction, which is sandwiched between the side face parts of the right and left panels and elastically deformed in the horizontal direction; the gasket 10 also has raised parts 11 on both sides along its cross direction, which are elastically deformed under the pressure of the back face parts 33 of the right and left panels and pressed against a joint bar 20. The gasket 50 for the horizontal joint is bonded to a receiving groove 47 provided in the lower portion of the upper panel, and abuts a receiving seat 37 while being elastically deformed, the receiving seat formed at the upper end of the lower panel. Receiving seats 37D are cut in positions on both sides of each panel along the horizontal direction to form gaps G. An isobaric space EV surrounded by the back face parts 33 of the panels 30, the planar part of the gasket 10, the raised parts 11, and the projection 12 communicates with the space portions V of the vertical joint VJ and the horizontal joint HV via the gaps G. Since the isobaric space EV on the back has a pressure equal to pressures within the space portions V, no pressure difference that may suck rainwater W falling therein is created.

The space between the panels 2R and 2L arranged in the horizontal direction and the height direction is closed by the vertical joint gasket 1 and the horizontal joint gasket 6, so that rainwater enters the interior of the building. Is preventing. However, in rainy weather accompanied by strong wind, the wind F is applied to the surfaces of the panels 2R and 2L and the joint between the panels 2R and 2L. The side joint gasket 6 is sandwiched between the upper panel 2R, 2L and the lower panel 2R, 2L, and is not directly exposed to the wind F (FIG. 1b,
d).

On the other hand, in the gasket 1 for vertical joints directly exposed to the wind F, the ridges 1b, 1b in contact with the side surfaces of the panels 2R, 2L are blown by the wind F (FIG. 1c), and the ridges 1b, 1b
A gap is likely to be formed between the first side and the side surfaces of the panels 2R and 2L. Moreover, the joint space between the panels 2R and 2L to which the wind F has been applied has a higher-pressure atmosphere than the rear surfaces of the panels 2R and 2L. Therefore, the rainwater W that has entered the joint space is easily sucked from the gaps between the ridges 1b, 1b and the side surfaces of the panels 2R, 2L toward the low-pressure panels 2R, 2L rear surfaces (FIG. 1d). The rainwater W that has entered the rear surfaces of the panels 2R and 2L promotes the corrosion of the metal members, reduces the durability of the building, and is caused by fungi and the like that easily propagate in a humid atmosphere caused by the penetration of the rainwater W. It also causes odor.

Next, a method of attaching a curtain wall to a wall foundation 60 in which foundation angle members 62 and 63 are attached to columns 61 at predetermined intervals vertically and horizontally will be described. The joint bar 20 is screwed to the base angle member 62 in the height direction corresponding to the panel width (FIG. 4A). At this time, the base level GL is set below the wall base 60, and the positioning is performed such that the hooks 23 of the joint bars 20 are at the same height based on the base level GL. The longitudinal joint gasket 10 has one side in the width direction affixed to the joint bar 20 over the entire length with an adhesive that has been peeled off and released from one side of the release paper 14 at a factory or the like in advance, and is located between the joint bar 20 and the joint. There is no gap.
When the joint rod 20 is fixed to the column 61, the other side of the vertical joint gasket 10 where the release paper 14 remains is turned up, and the joint rod 2 is fixed.

4 and screw the screw 63 into the base angle member 62 (FIG. 4b). Since the vertical joint gasket 10 has a central recess 13 with the bottom raised at the center in the width direction, the gasket 10 can be easily turned in the width direction. The central recess 13 also serves as a head receiving space for the screwed screw 64.

In connecting the plurality of vertical joint gaskets 10 in the height direction, the vertical joint gasket 10D is slightly retracted from the upper end of the lower joint rod 20D, and the space S without the vertical joint gasket 10D is moved to the lower side. Joint rod 20
It is preferably provided above D (FIG. 4c). On the other hand, in the upper joint bar 20U, the vertical joint gasket 10U is protruded from the lower end of the upper joint bar 20U by an amount corresponding to the height of the space S. When the projecting portion of the vertical joint gasket 10U is fitted into the space S of the lower joint bar 20D and connected to the vertical joint gasket 10D, the joint of the vertical joint gaskets 10U, 10D and the joint of the joint bars 20U, 20D are high. Because of the displacement in the vertical direction, the passage of water, ventilation, etc. through the joints is prevented.

A vertical joint VJ and a horizontal joint HJ are observed between the panels 30 arranged in the horizontal direction and the height direction, as shown in FIG. You. The vertical joint VJ is a protrusion 1 sandwiched between the right panels 30RD, 30RU and the left panels 30LD, 30LU.
It is closed by a vertical joint gasket 10 having a number 2. As shown in FIG. 6, the horizontal joints HJ are connected to the lower panels 30RD and 30RD.

The back surface 33 of each panel 30 and the gasket 1 for vertical joints are provided through a gap G at the end of the lower panel 30RD, 30LD.
In addition, it communicates with the constant pressure space EV surrounded by the flat portion 15, the raised portion 11, and the protruding portion 12.

Therefore, the wind force F applied to the wall surface is transmitted from the horizontal joint HJ to the equal pressure space EV via the space V and the gap G as shown by the arrow. As a result, the vertical joint V
J, the air pressure in the horizontal joint HJ and the air pressure in the equal pressure space EV become equal, and no pressure difference occurs between the two. FIG. 7 (a)
The equal pressure space forming path at this time is shown in a state viewed from the back side of the wall surface. The rainwater W hits the panel 30 and flows down the wall surface, but also falls on the vertical joint VJ and the horizontal joint HJ. Most of the rainwater W that has fallen into the vertical joint VJ flows down along the vertical joint VJ because the vertical joint VJ is blocked by the projecting portion 12 of the vertical joint gasket 10. The protrusions 1 are formed by the side surfaces 32R, 32L of the panels 30R, 30L pressed from the left and right.
2 is elastically compressed (FIG. 7b), and furthermore, isobaric space E
Since the air pressure of V is equal to the outside air on the front side, the suction force does not work, and the protruding portion 12 and the side portions 32R, 32
Even if a gap is formed between L and L, the rainwater W does not enter the equal pressure space EV.

Most of the rainwater W that has fallen into the horizontal joint HJ is:
Upper surface portions 35RD, 35 of lower panels 30RD, 30LD
Outflows along the LD. The outflow of the rainwater W is promoted by providing the upper surfaces 35RD and 35LD with inclined surfaces that become lower toward the front side. Some of the rainwater W that has fallen into the horizontal joint HJ flows into the space V between the rising portion 36D of the lower panel 30D and the upper panel 30U, and tends to trace the rising portion 36D by the wind F. However, standing part 3
The protrusion of the receiving seat 37D and the notch 38D at the upper end of 6D turns back to prevent the rainwater W from further rising (FIG. 7c). Depending on the wind force F, the side joint gasket 50 may be compressed and a gap may be formed between the receiving seat 37D and the receiving groove 47U.
Does not occur between the space V and the equal-pressure space EV. Therefore, even if a gap is formed, the rainwater W is prevented from entering the constant pressure space EV from the gap. In this way, the rainwater W that tends to enter the wall surface from the vertical joint VJ and the horizontal joint HJ is blocked by the vertical joint gasket 10 and the horizontal joint gasket 50. Therefore, the wall surface and the wall foundation are maintained in a clean and healthy state for a long time without corrosion due to the infiltrated rainwater W and no generation of offensive odor due to molds breeding in a humid atmosphere.

As described above, according to the present invention, when a vertical joint and a horizontal joint formed between a plurality of panels arranged in the horizontal direction and the height direction are closed with an elastic gasket,
Use a vertical joint gasket with a raised part pressed on the back side of the panel on both sides in the width direction, and a protruding part sandwiched between the side parts of the left and right panels and elastically deformed in the horizontal direction formed in the center part in the width direction. Through the gap formed near the end of the land gasket, the constant pressure space surrounded by the back surface of the panel, the flat portion, the raised portion, and the projecting portion of the vertical joint gasket communicates with the joint space. For this reason, the atmospheric pressure in the constant pressure space is equal to that of the joint space portion, and there is no pressure difference that causes rainwater to be sucked. Therefore, even when a large wind pressure is applied to the wall surface during a storm or the like, rainwater causing rust does not enter the joint from the joint portion, and the wall surface is maintained in a clean and healthy state for a long period of time.
