Claims (8)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 現像剤を収容する現像剤容器に補給する
ための現像剤を収容し該現像剤を排出可能に開口する排
出口が形成されている補給容器と、補給容器内の現像剤
を撹拌すると共に排出口に向けて搬送する撹拌搬送手段
とを備え、上記排出口から現像剤を排出して現像剤容器
内に現像剤を補給する現像剤補給手段において、撹拌搬
送手段は、補給容器内の配設される回転自在な無端ベル
ト状のフィルム状撹拌搬送部材と、該フィルム状撹拌搬
送部材を回転駆動する駆動手段と、フィルム状撹拌搬送
部材の内周面の互いに対向する二つの位置を結ぶ方向に
延びて該位置に両端が回動自在に固定されフィルム状撹
拌搬送部材の内周面に囲まれた領域内の現像剤を撹拌す
る伸縮自在な撹拌部材とを備え、フィルム状撹拌搬送部
材は、内周面でその近傍の現像剤を撹拌するよう突出す
る撹拌突起と、内周面側の現像剤を外周面側に移動可能
に形成される開口部と、外周面でその近傍の現像剤を排
出口に向けて搬送するよう突出する搬送突起とを有する
ことを特徴とする現像剤補給手段。
