Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape-heat set type decorative ribbon whose self three- dimensional shape can purposively be changed to produce a characteristic appearance by heating the main body of the ribbon with the hot air of a drier, far infrared light, or the like. SOLUTION: This shape-heat set type decorative ribbon is a narrow woven fabric which has selvage edge portions branched in biplane-like states on both the sides of the main body portion. Therein, warps having a thermal shrinkage rate different from that of warps in the main body portion are used as a part of the warps forming the selvage edge portions. Thereby, when a heating treatment is applied to a desired site, a three-dimensional shape charge can arbitrarily be given. A ribbon decoration which cannot be expected on conventional ribbons can be expressed, and a luxury presentation effect is obtained, when the ribbon is used for wrapping or the like.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an improvement in a ribbon, and more particularly, to a heat-set process by partially weaving a warp yarn containing a heat-shrinkable fiber, whereby the woven heat-shrinkable fiber is deformed. In addition, the present invention relates to a form heat-set type decorative ribbon which can impart a three-dimensional form change to the ribbon itself or arbitrarily give the form change.

[0003] A ribbon is a kind of narrow width fabric, and is woven by inserting a weft into a warp opened by a loom. However, the decoration expressed by the conventional ribbon has been limited to devising the design of the ribbon itself, a method of hanging the ribbon on an object, a binding method, or a knot. In this case, the limitation of the decorative expression is that the ribbon woven by the loom has a planar structure, and the color and the texture are monotonous. For this reason, the individuality of the ribbon itself alone made the decorative appeal unsatisfactory.

That is, the present invention relates to a narrow-width woven fabric having an edge portion that branches into a bi-leaf shape on the side of the main portion, wherein at least a part of the warp that organizes the edge portion has the main portion. Technical means of including fibers having different heat shrinkage rates from the warp was employed. In this case, the double leaf-shaped ear edges may be formed on both sides of the narrow woven fabric, or may be formed by a multi-woven structure in which wefts are joined at the center.

The technical significance of the present invention resides in the fact that the difference in the thermal shrinkage of the warp between the main portion and the edge portion of the narrow fabric is skillfully used. If the warp of the portion containing the heat-shrinkable fiber is shrunk in the longitudinal direction by heat setting, the ribbon will change its shape between the main body portion A and the edge portion B from that point.

In FIG. 1, a portion indicated by reference numeral A is a main body portion, and a portion indicated by reference numeral B is an ear edge portion. The ear edge portion B is located on the side of the ribbon main body, A required ear tissue such as a tissue or a tuck-in tissue is formed to form an outer edge. The reference numeral 11 indicates a warp in the main body A, the reference numeral 12 indicates a warp in the ear edge B, and the reference numeral 13 indicates a weft. In the present embodiment, two winged edges are formed on both sides of the ribbon body.

First, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 4 showing the structure of a ribbon. Warp in main part A
Numeral 11 includes a heat-shrinkable fiber such as polyester which shrinks at a relatively low temperature. The warp yarn 12 and the weft yarn 13 at the edge portion B are made of a fiber having a small heat shrinkage such as rayon. By heating a required portion of the heat-shrinkable warp yarn 11 with hot air, far infrared rays, or the like, the main body portion A contracts in the longitudinal direction, and shrinks strongly from the inside to the outside of the edge portion B. B has a frill shape (see FIG. 2).

Next, the second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. 4 because it has the same structure as the ribbon of the first embodiment. The warp yarns 11 and the weft yarns 13 in the main body portion A are made of fibers having a small heat shrinkage such as rayon, and the warp yarns 12 in the edge portion B are made of heat shrinkable fibers such as polyester that shrink at a relatively low temperature. Contains. By heating a required portion of the heat-shrinkable warp yarn 12 with hot air, far infrared rays, or the like, the ear edge portion B contracts in the longitudinal direction, and the main body portion A fits the length of the ear edge portion B. The main portion A is brought up and down (see FIG. 3).

Next, FIG. 5 shows a third embodiment of the present invention, which is a ribbon having a central weft-attached double weave structure. Have. FIG.
Among them, the one designated by reference numeral 14 is a binding weft. The binding weft 14 is made of a fiber having a small heat shrinkage, such as rayon, and is alternately wefted into upper and lower warps at the edge B to form two leaves. Then, at least a part of the warp forming the ear edge portion B includes a fiber having a different heat shrinkage from the warp forming the main body portion A to form a narrow woven fabric.

When the ribbon of the present invention is wound around a decoration object such as a stem portion of a bouquet, and then heated with hot air from a dryer or far-infrared rays, the warp containing the heat-shrinkable fibers shrinks in the longitudinal direction. I do. At this time, the ribbon undergoes a shape change at the boundary between the main body portion A and the edge portion B due to the difference in the heat shrinkage (see FIG. 6).

Although the present invention is generally configured as described above,
The present invention is by no means limited to the illustrated embodiment, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the claims, for example, the fiber having a large heat shrinkage is not limited to polyester, Polyamide-based or polypropylene-based fibers may be used, and fibers having a small heat shrinkage are not limited to rayon, and polyaramid fiber-based fibers may be used. The organization is not limited to plain weave, and the pattern may be woven by combining twill or satin weave. Further, the plurality of ear edges may be formed integrally by welding.
