【請求項1】 送風と吸引により循環する空気の流れの中に穀粒群を拡散状態で落下させることにより、穀粒群中に混入している害虫を含んだ異物を分離することを特徴とする穀類の異物選別方法。
【請求項2】 穀粒群を通過した空気中から異物を分離、捕集するとともに、異物を分離除去した後の空気を循環させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の穀類の異物選別方法。
【請求項3】 穀粒群を通過した空気中からサイクロンにより異物を分離するとともに集塵機により捕集することを特徴とする請求項2記載の穀類の異物選別方法。
【請求項4】 穀類の袋詰め直前またはそれに近い工程で行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の穀類の異物選別方法。
【請求項5】 穀粒群の投入口と排出口とを上下に設けるとともに、前記投入口と排出口とを結ぶ穀粒群の落下経路を挟んで両側に空気の流入口と流出口とを設けてなる選別室と、前記穀粒群投入口から選別室内へ投入する穀粒群を拡散させる穀粒群拡散手段と、前記空気流入口から選別室内に空気を吹き込む送風機と、前記選別室の空気流出口から流出する空気中から異物を分離するサイクロンと、該サイクロンにより分離した異物を捕集する集塵機と、異物を分離除去したサイクロン内の空気を前記送風機に供給する送風路とを備えることを特徴とする穀類の異物選別装置。
【請求項6】 前記送風機が、円筒状筐体内にファンを設け、前記筐体壁面の接線方向に前記選別室の空気流入口に連通する空気吹き出し筒を突設するとともに、軸方向両端部に設けた空気取り入れ口を前記送風路に連通させたものである請求項5記載の穀類の異物選別装置。
【請求項7】 穀類の袋詰め装置の直前またはそれに近い工程に設置してなる請求項5又は6に記載の穀類の異物選別装置。
