Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detachably attach a skin material on a formed body by integrally incorporating a fastening member, so that an engaging element protruding from the surface of the fastening member faces outside, on the sidewall of a drawing groove formed in a curve on the part covered by a skin material of a foam-molded body. SOLUTION: A drawing groove 21 in a U-letter form is formed on the surface of a foamed molded body 20, namely, on the part to be covered by a skin material. While this drawing groove 21 has a facing sidewall, a part of a slub urethane foam 4 as a fastening member F is embedded along the other sidewall. The fastening member F is integrally incorporated with the foamed molded body 20 in the longitudinal condition where engaging elements 2 are facing outward against the sidewall. The fastening member F is hard to bend in the width direction but tends to be bent relatively freely in the length direction or in the longitudinal condition.

[0006] A method of fixing the fastening member to the foamed molded body is to use a linear guide member having a U-shaped cross section as shown in, for example, Japanese Patent No. 2704589, in which a guide member is provided. The fastening element is placed with the engaging element inside, placed in the foaming mold, and the foaming stock solution is poured in from above, and when it is molded, the engaging element is oriented upward (that is, flat). The fastening member (the slab urethane foam portion) is fixed integrally with the foamed molded body.

[0009] The fastening member is usually formed in the foamed molded body and located in the recessed groove. However, since the engaging element faces upward as described above, the skin material is transferred to the fastening member in the groove. Once engaged, the skin material cannot be adjusted, and for adjustment, the skin material must be peeled off from the fastening member once and the skin material must be pressed again against the fastening member.

Further, this guide member prevents the undiluted foaming liquid from penetrating into the engaging element of the fastening member. However, a separate guide member must be disposed in the foaming mold. Here, if an error occurs in the arrangement position, not only the skin material cannot be assembled at a predetermined position, but also the function as a seat may be impaired.
