Description

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a seat pad used as a seat cushion material for a vehicle or the like.

In general, seat pads used as seat cushion materials for automobiles, etc. consist of molded products of flexible flexible foam such as soft polyurethane foam, and are used as seats covered with skin materials such as leather and cloth. Is done.

As a means for attaching the skin material to the seat pad, a fastener such as a pair of hook-and-loop fasteners that can be engaged is used, one of the fasteners is mounted on the surface of the seat pad, and the other is used as the skin material. There is a means to attach and detachably configure. In this case, the fastener is attached to the holding groove provided on the inner surface of the molding die during foam molding of the sheet pad, the molding die is closed, and the foam raw material is foam-filled in the cavity. There is a method of integrally molding on the surface, which is known, for example, from Patent Documents 1 to 4 below.
JP 11-254464 A JP 2002-369986 A JP 2003-53067 A JP 2003-71859 A

The fastener integrally fixed to the seat pad by foam molding as described above is used by being engaged with the fastener of the skin material, but when the skin material is peeled off, the adsorbing force between the fasteners is too strong. Then, there is a problem that the pad side fastener is peeled off from the pad body together with the skin material side fastener.

In order to solve such a problem, the present inventor considered that it would be effective to mold the seat pad in a state in which both end portions of the fastener installed on the pad side are embedded in the pad. When the end portion of the fastener is embedded in the pad, it is necessary to attach the fastener in a state where the end portion of the fastener protrudes from the holding groove of the mold, but in that case, the position of the fastener is likely to shift. If the fastener is attached in a state of being displaced with respect to the holding groove in this way, the amount of embedment at the end of the fastener varies, and depending on the product shape of the seat pad, when the mold is closed, Mold failure such that the mold or core mold hits the end of the fastener protruding from the holding groove, the fastener floats from the holding groove, and the foaming material enters the fastener surface from that part and the engaging element is embedded in the foam There are problems such as.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and the fastener can be firmly fixed to the seat pad by embedding the end portion of the fastener in the pad, and the attachment of the fastener in that case is also possible. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing a pad for a sheet that can suppress misalignment and can reduce variations in the amount of burying at the end of the fastener.

A manufacturing method of a seat pad according to the present invention that solves the above-described problems is a manufacturing method of a seat pad provided with a fastener having a plurality of engaging elements in a protruding state on one surface of a belt-like base. The fastener is marked at a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction from the end of the fastener, and the fastener is positioned in the longitudinal direction using the mark with respect to the holding groove provided on the inner surface of the mold, and the fastener The fastener is attached to the holding groove so that the end of the protrusion protrudes from the end of the holding groove into the cavity of the molding die, the molding die is closed, and the foaming material is foam-filled in the cavity. Thus, the sheet pad is foam-molded so that the end of the fastener is embedded in the pad.

In this way, the fastener is marked, and the fastener is attached to the holding groove of the molding die in a state where the fastener is positioned in the longitudinal direction, so that the end of the fastener is protruded from the holding groove. However, the fastener can be attached to the holding groove without being displaced. Therefore, the end portion of the fastener can be embedded inside the pad while suppressing variation in the amount of embedment, and the fastener can be firmly fixed to the seat pad by this embedment.

Examples of the mark attached to the fastener include scribing, holes or notches provided on the other surface side of the belt-like base.

Moreover, the said mark is attached | subjected to the position used as the boundary of the embedding part in a fastener edge part, The said fastener is positioned with respect to the said holding ditch | groove in a longitudinal direction by matching this mark with the terminal of the said holding ditch | groove You may do it. Since the portion of the fastener that protrudes from the end of the holding groove is embedded in the pad, a mark is placed at a position that should be the boundary of the embedded portion, and this mark is held in the holding groove. If the positioning is performed so as to match the terminal, the positioning can be performed without providing a mark on the holding groove side.

With the seat pad manufacturing method according to the present invention, the fastener can be firmly fixed to the seat pad by embedding the end of the fastener inside the pad, and the fastener mounting position shift in that case It is possible to suppress variation in the amount of embedded fastener end portions.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing a molding process of a sheet pad 10 according to the embodiment, FIG. 2 is a front view of the sheet pad 10, and FIGS. 3 and 4 are diagrams showing a fastener 14 and a holding groove 44 in the molding process. It is.

The seat pad 10 is a cushion pad that constitutes a backrest portion of an automobile seat, and includes a pad main body 12 made of a highly elastic soft polyurethane foam, and a synthetic resin fastener mounted on the surface thereof. . The seat pad 10 includes a main support portion 16 at the center in the width direction and a pair of left and right side support portions 18 and 18 formed in a protruding shape on both sides in the width direction, and is not shown on the back side of the side support portion 18. A recess 20 extending in the vertical direction for accommodating the seat frame is provided. Further, a lateral groove 22 extending across the entire width in the width direction is provided at the center of the front side of the main support portion 16 so as to cross the main support portion 16, and the fastener 14 is attached to the pad main body 12 at the bottom of the lateral groove 22. It is fixed to the unit.

As shown in FIG. 3, the fastener 14 is a surface fastener in which a large number of engaging elements 26 are arranged in a protruding state at a predetermined interval on one surface (front surface) of the belt-like base 24. An anchor portion 28 to the pad main body 12 protrudes from the other side (back side) of the pad body 12. The anchor portion 28 includes a wall portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the belt-like base 24, and a total of three anchor portions 28 are provided at both ends and the center of the belt-like base 24 in the width direction.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the fastener 14 installed with the engaging element 26 exposed in the main support portion 16 has both end portions 14 a and 14 a embedded in the pad main body 12 in the side support portion 18. ing. The burying amount is set to a dimension (for example, 2 cm) sufficient to achieve the firm fixation of the fastener 14 to the pad body 12, and the end of the fastener 14 reaches the recess 20 on the back side of the side support portion 18. It is set to end at no position.

As shown in FIG. 1, a molding die 30 for molding the sheet pad 10 is provided so as to be opened substantially in a concave lower mold 32 that is held substantially horizontally and molds the front side of the pad 10. The upper die 34 for molding the back side of the pad is formed, and a cavity 36 as a foaming space is formed between the lower die 32 and the upper die 34. The upper die 34 includes a core die 38 for forming the concave portion 20. The core die 38 is a convex portion protruding downward to form the concave portion 20 at both end portions in the width direction. 38a.

The lower die 42 is provided with a shelf-like portion 40 at the center in the width direction for forming the main support portion 16 and a recessed portion 42 that is recessed downward to form the side support portion 18 on both left and right sides thereof. The shelf-like portion 40 is provided with a holding groove 44 for holding the fastener 14 so as to cross the shelf-like portion 40. The holding concave groove 44 is formed by a rail member 48 having a U-shaped cross section disposed on the protrusion 46 for forming the lateral groove 22, extends over the entire width of the shelf-like portion 40, and extends upward. An opening is provided. The width of the holding groove 44 is set to be approximately the same as the width of the fastener 14, and the fastener 14 can be easily fitted into the holding groove 44, and the fitted fastener 14 is held in the holding groove 44. Thus, the fastener 14 is configured to be easily removed from the holding concave groove 44 together with the pad main body 12 at the time of demolding.

The sheet pad 10 is manufactured as follows.

[1] Marks 50 are attached to predetermined positions in the longitudinal direction from both ends 14b, 14b of the fastener 14 (see FIGS. 3 and 4). In this example, the mark 50 is attached to a position to be a boundary between the embedded portions at both ends 14a and 14a of the fastener 14, that is, at a position in the longitudinal direction of the fastener 14 to be attached so as to coincide with the terminal 44a of the holding recess 44. The mark 50 is attached. The mark 50 is attached to the back surface side of the fastener 14, and more specifically, is attached to each anchor portion 28 on the back surface of the belt-like base portion 24, and in this example, it is provided by being colored by scribing. Instead of such scribing, it is possible to make a mark 50 by making a through or non-through hole or by providing a notch.

[2] Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the fastener 14 is attached to the holding groove 44 of the lower mold 32 with the engaging element 26 facing the bottom surface of the holding groove 44. At that time, the fastener 14 is positioned in the longitudinal direction using the mark 50 as a mark. Specifically, the fastener 14 is attached to the holding groove 44 so that the mark 50 is aligned with the longitudinal end 44a of the holding groove 44 (see FIG. 4). Thus, the fastener 14 is attached to the holding groove 44 in a state where both end portions 14 a and 14 a of the fastener 14 protrude from both ends 44 a and 44 a of the holding groove 44 into the cavity 36 of the mold 30.

[3] Thereafter, a polyurethane stock solution as a foaming raw material is supplied to the lower mold 32, and the upper mold 34 is placed on the lower mold 32 and the mold is closed. Thus, the polyurethane stock solution is foam-filled in the cavity 36, the both end portions 14 a and 14 a of the fastener 14 are embedded in the pad main body 12, and the back surface of the fastener 14 on the anchor portion 28 side is the pad main body 12. The sheet pad 10 is foam-molded in a state of being integrally fixed to (see FIG. 1). Then, after molding, the upper die 34 is opened and removed, whereby the sheet pad 10 shown in FIG. 2 is obtained.

In the manufacturing method of the present embodiment, the mark 50 provided on the fastener 14 is a guide, so that the fastener 14 can be attached to the state in which the fastener end portion 14a protrudes from the holding groove 44, but the fastener 14 is not displaced. It can be attached to the holding groove 44. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the variation in the embedment amount at both end portions 14a, 14a of the fastener 14, and to eliminate molding defects caused by the fastener 14 hitting the convex portion 38a of the core die 38 when the mold is closed. it can. Moreover, since the both ends 14a and 14a of the fastener 14 are embed | buried in the inside of the pad main body 12, the fastener 14 is firmly fixed to the pad main body 12 for the obtained pad 10 for sheets, Therefore, the fastener at the time of use 14 from the pad body 12 can be prevented.

In addition, since the fastener 14 is provided with the mark 50 and positioned in the longitudinal direction, the following problems can be solved. That is, for example, when the position of a fastener attached in a state of protruding into the cavity is regulated by a pin or wall 100 (shown by a chain line in FIG. 1) provided in the lower mold, a hole by a pin or wall is opened on the pad surface. And there is a problem of deteriorating the appearance. Further, when removing the pin or wall from the pad main body at the time of demolding, the pad main body may be torn from this hole. On the other hand, if it is the method of positioning by attaching | subjecting the above marks, such a hole will not open and a tear will not generate | occur | produce.

In the above embodiment, the case where the fastener 14 is attached along the width direction of the seat pad 10 has been described. However, in the present invention, the attachment position is not limited to this, and the boundary between the main support portion and the side support portion. It may be arranged along the line and can be applied to various other mounting positions. Further, the number of fasteners 14 is not limited to one, and a plurality of fasteners 14 may be provided. Furthermore, although the said embodiment demonstrated the seat pad used for a backrest part, it is also applicable to the seat pad used for the seating part which receives a collar part. Moreover, in the said embodiment, although the mark 50 attached | subjected to the fastener 14 was aligned with the terminal 44a of the holding ditch | groove 44, a mark was attached | subjected separately to a holding ditch | groove, and the mark and fastener on this holding ditch | groove side The side mark may be aligned and attached.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be suitably used when manufacturing a seat pad used as a seat cushion material for various vehicles including automobiles.
