Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a blood collection needle, and more particularly, to puncture one end of a blood vessel of a subject and connect the other end to a vacuum blood collection tube to respond to a negative pressure in the vacuum blood collection tube. The present invention relates to a blood collection needle capable of collecting an amount of blood. According to the blood collection needle of the present invention, it is possible to confirm that one end has been punctured into the vein of the subject before the other end communicates with the vacuum blood collection tube.

Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a blood collection needle has been proposed which can confirm that a needle is securely inserted into a vein of a subject, that is, a so-called flashback, before attaching the vacuum blood collection tube when collecting blood using a vacuum blood collection tube. ing. Such a conventional blood collection needle is disclosed in, for example, JP-A-61-64234.
The publication discloses a housing having a sample collection chamber having a front end and a rear end and a passage for communicating with the outside air, a cannula extending from the front end and the rear end, and an inflatable container which comes into contact with blood and expands. A blood collection needle provided with a tablet that shuts off the communication with the outside air is disclosed. However, in this blood collection needle, when a vacuum blood collection tube is attached, negative pressure is applied to the tablet, so that outside air may flow into the blood collection needle, and a predetermined blood collection amount may not be obtained.

In addition, a blood collection needle that can confirm flashback with a translucent hub or an elastic tip is disclosed. However, since the elastic tip of the blood collection needle is housed inside the blood collection needle holder and is held by hand from above, it is very difficult to confirm flashback with the elastic tip. Further, the blood that has entered the inside of the needle tube due to venous pressure when one end is punctured into the vein of the subject has a structure in which the inside of the elastic tip cavity is filled and then enters the ventilation hole. It takes time to confirm flashback.

When a vacuum blood collection tube is installed, a negative pressure is not applied to a filter portion (hereinafter referred to as an air-permeable blood-impermeable member). It is another object of the present invention to provide a blood collection needle that can confirm flashback immediately after one end of the blood collection needle is punctured into a vein.

As long as the passage 21 communicates with the outside, the open end to the outside may be provided anywhere. When the blade surface of one end 1 a of the needle tube 1 is punctured into the vein of the subject by the passage 21, the blood that has entered the inside of the needle tube 1 passes through the hole 11.
The flashback can be confirmed by visually checking the invaded blood from the side of the needle tube support 2 through the passage 21 through the passage 21.

As the sealing member 22, a plastic material such as polypropylene, Teflon (registered trademark) and silicon rubber can be used, but a metal such as stainless steel or a ceramic may be used. In the passage 21, there is a gap between the sealing member 22 and the needle tube support 2 through which air and blood can pass.

With this member 23, the blood that has flowed in during blood collection does not leak to the outside while maintaining the air permeability in the passage 21. As the air-permeable blood impermeable member 23, a layered filter made of a polymer sintered body such as polypropylene or polyethylene is preferably used, but a so-called film-shaped so-called film made of a hydrophobic resin such as polypropylene or polyethylene is normally used. It may be a membrane filter.

It passes through the gap with the body 2 and is blocked by the air-permeable blood-impermeable member 23. Thereafter, when the vacuum blood collection tube is attached to the other end 1b of the needle tube 1, the sealing member 22 is drawn to the needle tube 1 by the negative pressure of the vacuum blood collection tube, as shown in FIG.
Block passage 21. Thus, since a negative pressure is not directly applied to the air-permeable blood-impermeable member 23, a predetermined blood collection amount can be obtained. The passage 21 has a sealing member 22 therein.
It is more preferable to provide the convex portion 24 for locking the needle tube 1 in consideration of the sealing property inside the needle tube 1. As the shape of the convex portion 24, in addition to the shape shown in FIG. 1 having an L-shaped cross-section, a shape that expands in a tapered shape toward the open end, or a shape that projects inward of the passage at an intermediate portion of the passage 21 And the like.

When one end 1a of the needle tube 1 is punctured into the subject, the air-permeable blood-impermeable member 23 expanded by the inflowing blood passes the sealing member 22 directly to the needle tube 1 or a passage as shown in FIG. Convex part 2 in 21
4 to close the hole 11 or the passage 21. Thereby, immediately after confirming the flash bag, the inside of the needle tube 1 is sealed. When the vacuum blood collection tube is attached, the sealing member 22 is further connected to the needle tube 1 by the negative pressure of the vacuum blood collection tube.
Alternatively, the sealing property of the inside of the needle tube 1 is further improved because it is in close contact with the convex portion 24.

As a material for the rubber cap 4, synthetic isoprene rubber, silicon rubber, or the like is employed. A thread 26 is formed in the needle tube support 2, and by screwing into a mouth (not shown) of the holder, the blood collection needle and the holder can be integrated.
