Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.1つの偏光の光を透過させ、そして別の偏光の光を反射させる反射性偏光 子であって、45°の入射角の光に対して少なくとも600nmのOAC赤色バ ンドエッジを有し、かつ、法線入射において消光軸に平行に偏光された光に対し て約12%未満の400〜800nmにおける平均透過率を有する、反射性偏光 子。 2.60°の入射角で少なくとも620nmのOAC赤色バンドエッジをさら に有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 3.60°の入射角で少なくとも650nmのOAC赤色バンドエッジをさら に有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 4.75°の入射角で少なくとも650nmのOAC赤色バンドエッジをさら に有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 5.60°の入射角で少なくとも630nmのOAC赤色バンドエッジをさら に有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 6.80°の入射角で少なくとも630nmのOAC赤色バンドエッジをさら に有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 7.80°の入射角で少なくとも650nmのOAC赤色バンドエッジをさら に有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 8.60°の入射角で少なくとも670nmのOAC赤色バンドエッジをさら に有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 9.多層反射性偏光子である、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 10.コレステリック反射性偏光子である、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 11.法線入射における消光スペクトルは少なくとも800nmの赤色バンド エッジを有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 12.法線入射における消光スペクトルは少なくとも830nm の赤色バンドエッジを有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 13.法線入射における消光スペクトルは少なくとも850nmの赤色バンド エッジを有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 14.法線入射における消光スペクトルは少なくとも870nmの赤色バンド エッジを有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 15.法線入射における消光スペクトルは少なくとも900nmの赤色バンド エッジを有する、請求項1記載の反射性偏光子。 16.OAC赤色バンドエッジは、p−偏光された光に関して、非法線入射で の透過軸についての反射率がベースラインの反射率値からOACスペクトルのピ ーク反射率値の10%まで増加する波長として規定される、請求項1記載の反射 性偏光子。 17.反射性偏光子は液晶表示装置の一部分である、請求項1記載の反射性偏 光子。 18.液晶表示装置はバックリット液晶表示装置である、請求項17記載の反 射性偏光子。 19.液晶表示装置は反射性液晶表示装置である、請求項17記載の反射性偏 光子。 20.液晶表示装置はトランスフレクティブ液晶表示装置である、請求項17 記載の装置。
