Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 二次元撮像後方散乱プローブにおいて、 a)放射線源と、 b)放射線検出器と、 c)該放射線検出器に結合された位置感知装置と、 d)前記放射線検出器及び前記位置感知装置に電気連絡されて、前記放射線源 から後方散乱された放射線から前記放射線検出器の位置の関数としての二次元マ ップを生成する写像回路と、 e)該二次元マップを表示するディスプレイとを備え、 f)前記プローブが試験物品の非破壊/非侵入検査を容易にすることを特徴と する二次元撮像後方散乱プローブ。 2. 前記放射線源がガンマ放射線源を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に 記載のプローブ。 3. 前記放射線源がX線源を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプ ローブ。 4. 前記放射線源がコバルトを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の プローブ。 5. 前記ガンマ放射線源が122keV及び136keVで主放射を行う57C 0を約100μCi備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプローブ。 6. 前記放射線検出器がセシウム沃化物シンチレータ結晶及び光電子増倍管を 備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプローブ。 7. 前記写像回路が前記位置感知装置からの位置情報と、前記放射線検出器か らの計数率を処理して、前記ディスプレイへ駆動信号を供給することを特徴とす る請求項1に記載のプローブ。 8. 前記写像回路が汎用マイクロプロセッサを備えていることを特徴とする請 求項1に記載のプローブ。 9. 前記写像回路が前記位置感知装置及び前記放射線検出器と電気連絡された 携帯可能なコンピュータを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプロー ブ。 10.試験物品に二次元後方散乱を実施する方法において、 a)一定の放射線源から前記試験物品へ向けて放射線を放射する工程と、 b)一定の放射線検出器で、前記試験物品から後方散乱された放射線を感知する 工程と、 c)前記放射線検出器が前記試験物品の周りを移動する時に該放射線検出 器の複数の位置を感知する工程と、 d)前記放射線検出器が前記試験物品の周りを移動する時に、該放射線検 出器の位置の関数として、後方散乱された放射線から二次元マップを生成する工 程と、 e)一定のディスプレイ上に該二次元マップを表示する工程とを備えてい ることを特徴とする試験物品に二次元後方散乱を実施する方法。 11.前記一定の放射線源から放射線を放射する工程がガンマ放射線源から放射 線を放射することから成ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 12. 前記一定の放射線源から放射線を放射する工程がX線放射線源から放射 線を放射することから成ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 13. 前記一定の放射線源から放射線を放射する工程がコバルト放射線源から 放射線を放射することから成ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 14. 前記一定の放射線源から放射線を放射する工程が122keV及び13 6keVで主放射を行う57Coを100μCi備えた一定の源から放射線を放射 することから成ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 15. 前記一定の放射線検出器で前記試験物品から後方散乱された放射線を感 知する工程がセシウム沃化物シンチレータ結晶及び光電子増倍管で放射線を感知 することから成ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 16. 前記放射線検出器の位置の関数として、前記後方散乱ガンマ放射線から 二次元マップを生成する工程が一定の位置感知装置からの位置情報を処理すると 共に、前記放射線検出器からの計数率を処理して、ディスプレイヘ駆動信号を供 給することから成ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 17. 前記放射線検出器の位置の関数として、前記後方散乱放射線から二次元 マップを生成する工程が一定の汎用マイクロプロセッサを介して二次元マップを 生成することから成ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。 18. 前記放射線検出器の位置の関数として、前記後方散乱放射線から二次元 マップを生成する工程が前記位置感知装置及び前記放射線検出器と電気連絡され た携帯可能なコンピュータを使用して前記後方散乱放射線から二次元マップを生 成することから成ることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
