Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.車両中心軸線のまわりに延びるリムを持つ車両車輪において、 内部リム区分と、この内部リム区分から一般に互いに反対の方向に延び、リム ・フランジ区分に終る第1及び第2のリム・ビードシート区分とを備え、さらに 前記リムに取付けたディスク又はマウンティング・リングを持ち、前記第1のリ ム・ビードシート区分に、前記車輪中心軸線に対して半径方向外側面及び半径方 向内側面を設け、これ等の半径方向外側面及び半径方向内側面を共に、前記内部 リム区分から遠ざかる方向に前記車輪中心軸線から半径方向外方に傾斜させ、前 記第1のリム・ビードシート区分の前記傾斜した半径方向内側面に、前記車輪中 心軸線のまわりに円周方向に延び、内向きの円筒形第1面を持つみぞを形成し、 前記ディスク又はマウンティング・リングに、その外周辺のまわりに外向きの円 筒形第1面を持つスカート・フランジを設け、前記ディスク又はマウンティング ・リングを前記リムに取付けたときに前記みぞの前記円筒形第1面及び前記スカ ート・フランジの円筒形第1面が、相互に係合するようて成る車両車輪。 2.前記みぞの内向きの円筒形第1面及び前記スカート・フランジの外向きの円 筒形第1面を相互にプレスばめした請求の範囲第1項記載の車両車輪。 3.前記みぞに、このみぞの前記内部リム区分側で前記円筒形第1面にすぐ隣接 して内向きの第2面を設け、このみぞの第2面を、前記内部リム区分から遠ざか る方向に前記車輪中心軸線から半径方向外方に傾斜させた請求の範囲第1項記載 の車両車輪。 4.前記スカート・フランジに、前記みぞの第2面に対して対応する角度をなし て前記スカート・フランジの前記円筒形第1面にすぐ隣接して外向きの第2面を 設けて、前記ディスク又はマウンティング・リングを前記リムに取付けたときに 、前記みぞの第2面に係合するようにした請求の範囲第3項記載の車両車輪。 5.前記スカート・フランジに、前記みぞの第1のビードシート区分に協働する フランジ側で前記スカート・フランジの円筒形第1面にすぐ隣接する外向きの第 3面を設け、このスカート・フランジの第3面が、前記第1のビードシート区分 の半径方向内側面に対して対応する角度を持ち、前記ディスク又はマウンティン グ・リングを前記リムに取付けたときに、前記第1のビードシート区分の前記半 径方向内側面に係合するようにした請求の範囲第1項記載の車両車輪。 6.前記第1のビードシートの半径方向内側面及び半径方向外側面を、前記車輪 中心軸線に対し約15°の角度をなして傾斜させた請求の範囲第1項記載の車両 車輪。 7.前記リムの第1のビードシート区分及びみぞをロールフォーミングにより形 成した請求の範囲第1項記載の車両車輪。 8.前記ディスク又はマウンティング・リングをスピニングにより形成し、前記 スカート・フランジの円筒形第1面を機械加工により得るようにした請求の範囲 第7項記載の車両車輪。 9.前記ディスク又はマウンティング・リングを前記リムに溶接した請求の範囲 第2項記載の車両車輪。 10.前記スカート・フランジに、前記内部リム区分の方向で前記車輪中心軸線 から遠ざかる向きにわずかな角度をなして前記スカート・フランジの外側端部に 向かって延びる半径方向内側面を設けた請求の範囲第1項記載の車両車輪。 11.車両車輪を形成する方法において、内部区分と、一般にこの内部区分から 遠ざかる向きに互いに反対の方向に延び各フランジ区分に終る第1及び第2のリ ム・ビードシート区分とを持つように、軸線のまわりにリムをロールフォーミン グする段階であって、前記第1のリム・ビードシート区分は、前記内部区分から 遠ざかる方向に共に前記軸線から半径方向外方に傾斜した半径方向外側面及び半 径方向内側面を持つようににロールフォーミングする段階と、円筒形内向きの第 1みぞ面を持つみぞを、前記第1のリム・ビードシート区分の傾斜した半径方向 内側面に前記軸線のまわりに円周方向に延びるようにロールフォーミングする段 階と、外向きの円筒形第1面を持つスカート・フランジを備えたディスク又はマ ウンティング・リングを成形する段階と、前記みぞ及びスカート・フランジの前 記各円筒形面を互いにプレスばめする段階と、次いで前記スカート・フランジを 前記リムに恒久的に溶接する段階と、 を包含する車両車輪形成する方法。 12.前記スカート・フランジを前記リムに恒久的に溶接するのに先だって、中 間の仮付け溶接作業をなくしたことを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項記載の車両 車輪を形成する方法。
