Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.通信ネットワーク上で目標エンティティにアクセスする方法であって、 各々が対応するドメイン名に関連づけられ、目標エンティティへのアクセスの 際に使用される通信データを含む複数のレコードを記憶し、上記番号ストリング の少なくとも相当な部分を上記ドメイン名の少なくとも一部に解析することを含 むプロセスによって対応するドメイン名を取り出すことができるように各ドメイ ン名がそれぞれの番号ストリングと関連づけられているように構成されたDNS タイプ分散データベース・システムを提供するステップ(a)と、 目標エンティティを標示する番号ストリングを供給し、上記番号ストリングの 少なくとも相当な部分を上記ドメイン名の少なくとも一部に解析することを含む 上記プロセスによって対応するドメイン名を作成するステップ(b)と、 上記ステップ(b)において作成されたドメイン名をDNSタイプ分散データベ ース・システムに適用して、対応するレコードに含まれる通信データを取り出す ステップ(c)と、 目標エンティティにアクセスする際上記ステップ(c)で取り出した通信データ を使用するステップ(d)と、 を含む方法。 2.上記通信ネットワークが電話ネットワークであり、目標エンティティが呼 び出される側であり、上記番号ストリングがダイヤルされた番号を含み、取り出 される通信データが呼び出される側の現在時電話番号である、請求項1に記載の 方法。 3.上記通信ネットワークが電話ネットワークであり、目標エンティティが呼 び出される側であり、上記番号ストリングがダイヤルされた番号を含み、取り出 される通信データが呼び出される側の現在時電話番号に関するコンピュータ・ネ ットワーク上の位置を標示するURIであり、このURIが、呼び出される側を アクセスする際に使用される現在時電話番号が取り出すため使用される、請求項 1に記載の方法。 4.上記通信ネットワークがコンピュータ・ネットワークであり、目標エンテ ィティがそのネットワーク上の対応するURIに保持されている資源項目であり 、上記番号ストリングが目標エンティティに関する電話番号を含み、取り出され る通信データが上記資源項目のURIである、請求項1に記載の方法。 5.上記資源項目が、呼び出したい目標エンティティの現在時電話番号であり 、上記番号ストリングがその目標エンティティに関する個人電話番号である、請 求項4に記載の方法。 6.上記番号ストリングの少なくとも相当な部分の上記ドメイン名の少なくと も一部への解析が、すべての番号ストリングに関して同一である分割方式に従っ て上記相当な部分をラベル・セグメントに分割することを含む、請求項1に記載 の方法。 7.上記番号ストリングが国際電話番号であり、上記番号解析が、国際電話番 号の国コード成分のラベル・セグメントを作成し、次に、そのような番号のすべ てに対して同一である分割方式に従って国際電話番号の残りの少なくとも相当な 部分から更なるラベル・セグメントを作成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方 法。 8.上記番号ストリングが国際電話番号であり、上記番号解析が、国際電話番 号の国コード成分のラベル・セグメントを作成し、次に、上記国コード成分の識 別に依存する分割方式に従って国際電話番号の残りの少なくとも相当な部分から 更なるラベル・セグメントを作成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 9.上記DNSタイプ分散データベース・システムが、"telname空間"と呼ば れる名前空間を構成するドメイン名セットを取り扱うことができるように適用さ れ、telname空間のルートがDNSタイプ分散データベース・システムによって 取り扱われる全名前空間のルートである、請求項1に記載の方法。 10.上記DNSタイプ分散データベース・システムがインターネット上に分 散されている、請求項9に記載の方法。 11.上記DNSタイプ分散データベース・システムがインターネットのDN Sによって提供され、DNSのサブドメインである"telname空間"と呼ばれる名 前空間を構成するドメイン名セットを取り扱うことができるように適用される、 請求項1に記載の方法。 12.上記番号ストリングが電話番号であり、telname空間がDNSのドメイ ン".itu.int."におけるサブドメインを形成する、請求項11に記載の方法。 13.上記DNSタイプ分散データベース・システムがインターネットのDN Sによって提供され、DNSの複数サブドメインの間に分割されている"telname 空間"と呼ばれる名前空間を構成するドメイン名セットを取り扱うことができる ように適用される、請求項1に記載の方法。 14.上記番号ストリングが電話番号であり、telname空間がDNSの国ドメ インの少くともいくつかにおけるそれぞれのサブドメインによって提供される、 請求項13に記載の方法。 15.上記番号ストリングのあらかじめ定められた部分を使用して、ドメイン 名末尾が照合され、そのドメイン名末尾が番号ストリングの少なくとも相当な部 分の上記解析によって取り出されるドメイン名部分に追加される、請求項11乃 至請求項14のいずれかに記載の方法。 16.上記番号ストリングが国際電話番号であり、その国コード成分が上記ド メイン名末尾を照合するために使用される上記あらかじめ定められた部分を構成 する、請求項15に記載の方法。
