Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. データ記憶要素と接続されたモニタとを備えるコンピュータ用の無停電電 源(UPS)であり、コンピュータは電線電力を受信する内部スイッチモード電 源(SMPS)システムによって給電して動作し、前記UPSはコンピュータ内 部に取り付けるための内蔵装置として構成し、この内蔵装置が電力障害およびノ イズに際してコンピュータおよびモニタに対してバックアップ電源ならびに保護 を提供することを特徴とする無停電電源。 2. 200−320Vの直流電力出力または220/110V,50/60H zの交流電力出力をそれぞれ提供するものであり、プリント回路基板、バッテリ 、自動バッテリチャージャ、直流−直流インバータまたは15ないし200kH zの範囲で発振する直流−交流高電圧インバータ、低または高電圧検出器、およ び切替スイッチ/リレーとからなり、これらの全てが前記基板上に配装され、前 記内蔵UPSはコンピュータオン/オフスイッチによって作動される内蔵UPS 。 3. UPS装置が内蔵カードであることを特徴とする請求項1および2記載の UPS。 4. UPSをコンピュータのスイッチモード電源(SMPS)内に配設するこ とを特徴とする請求項1および2記載のUPS。 5. 独立したオン/オフスイッチによって作動される請求項2ないし4記載の UPS。 6. コンピュータの単一バススロット内に装着可能なサイズを有する請求項3 記載のUPS。 7. 平板型変圧器、高周波発振器、電源トランジスタ、整流器および平準化キ ャパシタからなる請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載のUPS。 8. 平板型変圧器はフェライト昇圧変圧器である請求項7記載のUPS。 9. 通信ソフトウェアをダウンロードする手段をさらに備えることを特徴とす る請求項1ないし8記載のUPS。 10. バッテリ低下アラーム手段と、バッテリ内の電圧があらかじめ設定され た許容レベル未満に降下した際に作動する自動遮断手段とをさらに備える請求項 2ないし9のいずれかに記載のUPS。 11. 電話線コネクタと、電話線から進入するRFI/EMIノイズおよびス パイク に対するコンピュータ保護とをさらに備える請求項1ないし3、ならびに4ない し10記載のUPS。 12. UPSカードは短いジャンパ線を介して電話線ならびにFAX/モデム カードに接続される請求項11記載のUPS。 13. 220/110V,50/60Hzの交流出力をそれぞれ提供し、直流 および交流高電圧インバータがマイクロコントローラおよびA/Dコンバータか らなる請求項2および7記載のUPS。 14. チャージャはコンピュータバススロットから2つまたはそれ以上のバス ピンを介して接地点および+Vに対する低電圧をそれぞれ受信し、これによって マザーボード上の各ピンならびに主要なコンダクタを流れる電流量を低下させる 請求項3記載のUPS。 15. バッテリチャージャをバススロットから低電圧を受信し、この低電圧を 高電圧バッテリを充電するための高電圧に昇圧する昇圧インバータ/チャージャ として構成する請求項3および17記載のUPS。 16. 昇圧インバータ/チャージャによって受信される低電圧が3−12Vの 範囲であり、高い電圧が5−27Vの範囲である請求項15記載のUPS。 17. 説明ならびに添付図面において実質的に開示された請求項1ないし16 のいずれかに記載のUPS。 18. コンピュータおよびスクリーンならびに請求項1ないし17のいずれか に記載の内蔵UPSを備えるコンピュータシステム。 19. UPSカードを交流主電線に結合し、さらに前記UPSカードを前記コ ンピュータの内蔵電源に短いジャンパ線を介して結合する請求項18記載のコン ピュータシステム。
