When the main cover 45 is closed, the rain cover 13 is set so as to be substantially parallel to the upper surface of the main cover 45.
3 is folded and placed. When replenishing fertilizer when it rains, first, the driver's seat 11 is tilted forward,
Next, after the rain cover 133 is manually opened so as to face downward to the left in FIG. 13, the main cover 45 is opened upward and the main cover 45 is set substantially vertically, as shown by a solid line in FIG. In addition, the lower surface on the base end side of the rain cover 133 is in contact with the front edge of the main lid 45 and does not go down any further, so that the upper surface of the opened fertilizer storage hopper 31 has a large space on the rain cover 133. So that the opening of the fertilizer bag 136 is connected to the fertilizer storage hopper 31.
The fertilizer replenishment work can be performed after the fertilizer is applied to the opening on the upper surface of the fertilizer. Even when it is raining, the fertilizer storage hopper 3 can be used.
Since no rain is transferred from the opening on the upper surface of 1, the fertilizer inside can be prevented from getting wet and clumping.

As can be understood from the above description, in the rice transplanter according to the first aspect of the present invention, the fertilizer applicator in which the seedling plant is disposed at the rear of the traveling machine body provided at the rear is provided in the width direction of the traveling machine body. In the lower part of the long fertilizer storage hopper, a feeding portion for feeding out fertilizer for each planting portion of the seedling plant is provided at appropriate intervals in the width direction of the traveling machine body, and the front side of the fertilizer storage hopper And at least one of the rear side and the rear side is provided with a horizontally long cover body that covers at least the upper side of the feeding part, and the cover body has a side surface of the traveling machine body such that a lower end thereof is separated from the fertilizer storage hopper. It is formed in a divergent shape when viewed.

With this configuration, when replenishing fertilizer into the upper opening of the fertilizer storage hopper, even if granular fertilizer falls from the fertilizer storage hopper, the fertilizer can be received by the cover body. The spilled fertilizer does not adhere to the parts such as the lower pay-out portion that is covered and covered, and the rust of the parts is reliably prevented. Further, since the cover body is arranged in a divergent shape so that the lower end thereof is separated from the fertilizer storage hopper in the front-rear direction, there is an effect that the lower part of the fertilizer storage hopper can be protected over a wide range.

Furthermore, the invention according to claim 4 is the rice transplanter according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the left and right ends of the cover body disposed on the front side of the fertilizer storage hopper are provided. Since it is located outside the left and right step portions of the traveling body, various parts can be protected from the adhesion of fertilizer over a wide range in the longitudinal direction of the fertilizer application and the width direction of the traveling body. When the cover has a gutter at the lower end, the left and right sides of the gutter are located outside the step, so that when the fertilizer collected in the gutter is swept out, the fertilizer is automatically dropped to the outside of the traveling machine and the rice planting is performed. This has the effect of reliably preventing fertilizer from adhering to machine parts.
