径側に断面コ字状の嵌合溝を形成した複数割りのハウジ
ングを両フランジ縁に被冠して収径することにより、管
同士を連結し、併せて前記パッキンを押し潰し、前記リ
ングはパッキンが半径方向に逃げるのを押え、加えて前
記フランジ縁とリング間には微少隙間を残し、この微少
隙間の作用により連結された管同士は折れ方向の応力を
吸収して免震性とシール性を担保することができるよう
に構成したことを特徴とする管継手。
1. A flange edge is integrally formed by expanding a groove at both ends of a pipe to be welded outward, and a packing having a press ring attached to an outer peripheral surface is interposed between the flange edges. By fitting a plurality of split housings each having a U-shaped cross-section fitting groove on both flange edges and reducing the diameter, the pipes are connected to each other, and the packing is crushed together. In addition, a small gap is left between the flange edge and the ring, and the connected tubes absorb the stress in the bending direction to ensure seismic isolation and sealing.
