Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a comfortable walking feeling and traveling feeling, and to improve the appearance of a pavement. SOLUTION: The elastic pavement is obtained by arranging an elastic layer 2 of a two-layer structure having a total width of 20-50 mm on a crushed stone substrate 1, wherein a lower first layer 2a has a width of 60% or more of the total width of the elastic layer 2 and elastic granular rubber aggregate 3 and hard inorganic aggregate 4 are bound with a binder. The proportion in weight (granular rubber aggregate/inorganic aggregate) is set to 1/1-1/3. An upper second layer 2b has a width of 40% or less of the total width of the elastic layer 2, and the elastic granular rubber aggregate 3 and the hard inorganic aggregate 4, are bound with binder. The proportion in weight (granular rubber aggregate/inorganic aggregate) is set to 1/4 or less.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a pavement path to be constructed on a sidewalk or a passage in a park, there is a pavement in which rubber chips, natural stones and the like are combined on a crushed stone base with a binder. Although a pavement using natural stone has a beautiful appearance, it has a hard surface and lacks resilience, and when exercising on a road surface, it places a burden on the feet and hips. In addition, since cracks are likely to occur, it is necessary to take joints, and the construction is complicated. On the other hand, pavement roads using rubber chips have elasticity suitable for exercise, are excellent in safety when falling down, and have good followability to the movement of the ground, but the appearance is monotonous when black rubber chips are used. Become. Further, even if the color rubber chip is used, the artificial color still does not harmonize with the natural color, and the color rubber chip is expensive and cannot use recycled rubber.

In recent years, there has been proposed a method in which an inorganic aggregate such as natural stone is mixed with a granular rubber aggregate such as a vulcanized rubber chip, and an elastic layer in which the mixed aggregate is bound with a binder is provided on a crushed stone base. ing.

[0004] For example, a pavement described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-158005 has a single-layered elastic layer in which inorganic aggregates such as natural stones are mixed with granular rubber aggregates such as rubber chips and the weight of the aggregates. The distribution (elastic granular rubber aggregate / hard inorganic aggregate) is set to 1/1 to 1/5. However, in the above-mentioned elastic pavement road, although the amount of the granular rubber aggregate is relatively large, the surface is low although the elasticity is high, and the exposed area of the inorganic aggregate in the surface area is small, and the appearance utilizing natural stone is improved. The effect was poor.

On the other hand, in the pavement described in JP-A-6-272204, the content of non-rubber elastic aggregate is 85% or more of the whole aggregate, and natural stone is used as the non-rubber elastic aggregate. In the case, the appearance was excellent, but the elasticity was poor and a comfortable walking and running feeling could not be obtained. As described above, the comfortable walking and running feelings and the effect of improving the appearance by natural stones are in conflict with each other, and it has been difficult to satisfy both at the same time.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The configuration of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 illustrates an elastic pavement according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, on a crushed stone base 1, an elastic layer 2 having a two-layer structure including a lower first layer 2a and an upper second layer 2b is applied after performing a normal primer treatment. The total thickness of the two-layered elastic layer 2 is set in the range of 20 to 50 mm depending on the application.

Also,
By setting the thickness of the first layer 2a to 60% or more of the total thickness of the elastic layer 2, more specifically 60 to 80%, the function of the second layer 2b described later can be maintained while the above-mentioned elasticity is secured. It does not inhibit.

Acrylic ester copolymers, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers and the like can be mentioned, and one- or two-part room-temperature-curable urethane resins are particularly preferable. If the binder content is less than 0.05, the durability becomes insufficient, and if it exceeds 0.25 g, the economic efficiency becomes poor and the water permeability becomes insufficient.

On the other hand, the second layer 2b has a thickness of not more than 40% of the total thickness of the elastic layer 2 and has a structure in which the elastic granular rubber aggregate 3 and the hard inorganic aggregate 4 are bonded with a binder. The weight distribution (granular aggregate / inorganic aggregate) is set to 1/4 or less. By setting the weight distribution of the elastic granular rubber aggregate 3 and the hard inorganic aggregate 4 in the second layer 2b in the above range, the inorganic aggregate 4 such as natural stone is exposed and a beautiful appearance is obtained. . Further, by setting the thickness of the second layer 2b to 40% or less of the total thickness of the elastic layer 2, more specifically, 20 to 40%, the function of the first layer 2a is hindered while the above appearance is secured. Further, as the hard inorganic aggregate 4 used for the second layer 2b, those having good appearance and excellent strength, such as natural stone and cobblestone, are suitable. As the color, for example, a white system, a brown system, a green system, or the like can be adopted.

As the liquid resin binder used for the second layer 2b, the same type of liquid resin binder as that used for the first layer 2a may be used. However, since the second layer 2b is exposed to sunlight, it is preferable to use a non-yellowing binder. The binder content per 1 cc of the aggregate of the second layer 2b is preferably 0.10 to 0.40 g. When the binder content is less than 0.10, the durability becomes insufficient. On the other hand, when it exceeds 0.40 g, there is a risk of foaming during curing, and the water permeability becomes insufficient.

As described above, the elastic layer 2 has a two-layer structure, and a layer having a large amount of elastic granular rubber aggregates 3 and a high elasticity is disposed on the lower first layer 2a, so that a comfortable walking and running feeling can be obtained. On the other hand, by arranging a layer having a large amount of the hard inorganic aggregate 4 in the upper second layer 2b, for example, the contrast between black rubber chips and natural stones such as white or brown can be obtained. A good appearance utilizing nature can be obtained.

Further, the first layer 2a does not require strength, has a low content of natural stones and the like, and has a low specific gravity, so that the construction cost is low. Down is possible. In particular, when a white-based aggregate is used, if the non-yellowing binder is used only for the second layer 2b, the cost can be further reduced.

Further, the above-mentioned elastic pavement can be directly constructed without forming a step on the crushed stone base, and the construction work is simple because no joint is required. In the present invention, the surface of the second layer 2b may be subjected to a surface reinforcing treatment or a matting treatment, or a fine aggregate-containing clear top coat may be applied to prevent slippage.

EXAMPLE An elastic layer having a single-layer structure or a double-layer structure having variously different aggregates was applied on a crushed stone base to form elastic pavement roads of Examples 1-4 and Comparative Examples 1-3. With respect to these elastic pavement roads, the hardness during walking, the hardness when falling (A max ), and the surface appearance were evaluated by the following test methods, and the results are shown in Table 1. It should be noted that a one-part room-temperature-curable urethane resin was used as the binder.
