Description
表示器１０１は、マトリクス状に配置された走査電極ＣＯＭ１〜ＣＯＭｎおよびデータ電極ＳＥＧ１〜ＳＥＧｍと、これら走査電極とデータ電極が交差する部分に形成され、両電極に接続された複数の有機ＥＬ素子ＥＬ1,1〜ＥＬm,nを有している。なお、符号ＣＯＭｙ（ｙ＝１〜ｎ）は、ｙ行目の走査電極を表し、符号ＳＥＧｘ（ｘ＝１〜ｍ）は、ｘ列目のデータ電極を表し、符号ＥＬx,yは、ｘ列、ｙ行目の有機ＥＬ素子を表している。
有機ＥＬ表示器１は、マトリクス状に配置された走査電極ＣＯＭ１〜ＣＯＭｎおよびデータ電極ＳＥＧ１〜ＳＥＧｍと、これら走査電極とデータ電極が交差する部分に形成され、両電極に接続された複数の発光素子としての有機ＥＬ素子ＥＬ1,1〜ＥＬm,nを有している。有機ＥＬ素子は、その有機ＥＬ素子に接続された走査電極とデータ電極との間の電位差が所定のしきい値以上のときに発光する。なお、符号ＣＯＭｙ（ｙ＝１〜ｎ）は、ｙ行目の走査電極を表し、符号ＳＥＧｘ（ｘ＝１〜ｍ）は、ｘ列目のデータ電極を表し、符号ＥＬx,yは、ｘ列、ｙ行目の有機ＥＬ素子を表している。なお、有機ＥＬ素子を等価的な電気回路で表すと、図２１のようになる。
