Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless water tank using no air pump and consequently causing no noise by using a solar battery as a main power, connecting a rechargeable storage battery serving as an auxiliary power source in parallel, and installing both of positive and negative electrodes to the inside of the water tank. SOLUTION: This cordless water tank using a solar battery as a main power source is provided with oxygen easily by electrolysis of water, that is, a compound consisting of oxygen and hydrogen. As a storage battery serving as an auxiliary power source is operated in the night, oxygen can be always supplied all day long. The solar battery can be used as a power source because the water tank is arranged in a bright place for keeping fancy fish and the like. The auxiliary power source is charged in preparation for the darkened time. When output from the solar battery is stopped, the auxiliary power source is automatically actuated. This water tank is applicable to a nursery for eel, shrimp or the like, and the problem of oxygen deficiency due to dense cultivation can be solved with ease.

According to the present invention, the above two problems can be solved simultaneously. Since water is a compound of oxygen and hydrogen, oxygen can be easily obtained by electrolysis of the compound. Since a solar cell is used as the main power source, cordless operation is possible. In addition, since the storage battery of the auxiliary power supply operates at night, oxygen can be constantly supplied throughout the day and night.

[Function] Since the aquarium is set up for breeding fish for appreciation, a bright place is selected. Therefore, since the solar cell can be used as a power source, the auxiliary power supply may be charged at the same time in case of darkness. When the output of the solar cell stops, the auxiliary power supply automatically operates.
