2. Description of the Related Art Hitherto, arabesque members have been disposed on the eaves side or the keraba side at the end of a roof, and a roof end repair process has been performed. As a specific structure of the roof edge repairing process, the tip of the main plate of the roof slab protrudes from the eaves side (or the keraba side), and an arabesque member is arranged on the lower surface side of the protruding portion. The portion is inserted into the eaves-side portion of the roof shingle or the folded portion at the tip of the keraba side, and the opposite end is abutted and disposed from the end of the base portion on which the roof shingle is to be constructed.

In the conventional roof edge repair, the roof sheet material and the arabesque member form a folded portion with each other,
Locked and fixed. Since the locking structure is formed substantially continuously along the lateral direction on the eaves side or the lateral direction on the keraba side, the mutual joining force can be increased.

[0004] However, even with such a structure, there is a possibility that rainwater infiltrates into the engagement joint portion of the roof by capillarity, thereby corroding the base portion of the roof and the like. In particular, the higher the degree of adhesion of the locked state at the folded portion between the eaves side or the keraba side and the arabesque member, the more easily the rainwater capillary phenomenon occurs, and the more easily the rainwater enters.

[0005] Such infiltration of rainwater from the eaves side is as follows.
Normally, it tends to occur on types with a gentle roof slope. Usually, the roof slope that is susceptible to infiltration of rainwater as described above is (10 /
100). Further, on the keraba side, the arabesque member is also continuous in the longitudinal direction along the gradient direction, so that it is always easy to receive rainwater. Therefore, a waterproof mechanism must be provided on the arabesque member and the eaves side or on the arabesque member and the keraba side. However, the provision of the waterproof mechanism complicates the structure of the eaves-side portion or the keraba-side portion, and also complicates construction.

The inventor of the present invention has conducted intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems. As a result, the present invention has proposed that the arabesque member having a groove having a drain hole is provided at the peripheral end of the roof. A roof end repairing apparatus is provided in which a gap is formed between a main plate of a roof plate material constituting a roof and a groove of the arabesque member, and a gutter is provided immediately below the groove. The above-mentioned problem has been solved by adopting a structure which can prevent rainwater from entering while being extremely simple.

Next, a third aspect of the present invention is directed to the first or second aspect.
In the above, the groove 5 is a roof end repairing device having a substantially V-shaped cross section, so that it is possible to improve the repair to the peripheral edge of the roof. In particular, by making the groove 5 have a substantially V-shaped cross section, it is possible to give a slight elasticity in the width direction of the groove 5, and the groove 5 can absorb the thermal expansion and contraction of the roof sheet material A caused by high and low temperatures. Thus, the durability of the arabesque member B can be improved.
