図2は、桟瓦1による瓦葺き屋根の壁際における取合い部分の構造を示すもので、その施工は通常、次のようにして行われる。
先ず、野地板3上にアスファルトルーフィング4を敷き、その一部を立上げて壁板5に添設し、ついで瓦桟木6を釘打ちして止着する。次に凹溝を備えた鋼板製の捨水切7を壁との取合い部分に装着し、その一側縁7aを瓦桟木6に釘打ちして止着すると共に、壁に添設される立上がり部分7bに板8を当てゝ釘打し止着する。その後、瓦1を屋根端から壁際に向かって並べ、軒から棟に向かって瓦1を葺いたのち、或いは葺きながら壁際の瓦1上にモルタル9を介して熨斗瓦11を重ね、笠木12で押えて釘打ちにより止着したのちカラー鋼板13を被せ、立上がり部を板14で押えて壁板5に釘打ちにて止着している。図中、15は外壁であり、16は漆喰である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
壁際にルーフィングを施工する際、図2及び図3に示すように、ルーフィング4をコーナ部分で直角に折り曲げにくゝ、往々にして図4及び図5に示すようにコーナで浮いた状態になりがちである。この状態で捨水切を装着すると、コーナ側が浮いた状態となるが、浮かないように強く押え込んで取付けようとすると、捨水切のコーナでルーフィングが破れることがある。

本発明の第1の目的は、壁際の取合い部分にルーフィングを施工する際、壁とのコーナ部分でルーフィングが浮いた状態となっていても捨水切を支障なく装着することができ、もってルーフィングの施工を容易にすることができる捨水切を提供することを目的とする。

本発明の第2の目的は、第1の目的に加え、平板瓦を施工するのに特に適した捨水切を提供することを目的とする。

【課題の解決手段】
請求項1に係わる発明は、第1の目的を達成する捨水切に関するもので、瓦葺き屋根の壁際の取合い部分に敷設されたルーフィング上に装着され、凹溝を備えた捨水切において、壁際のコーナに対応する箇所を、円弧状、傾斜状又は凹状に形成したことを特徴とする。

本発明によると、壁際のコーナ部分でルーフィングが浮いた状態となっていても、捨水切の対応箇所が円弧状、傾斜状又は凹状になっていると、捨水切装着時に円弧状又は傾斜状部分がルーフィングを押え込んだとしても応力集中が生じなくなり、ルーフィングに破れを生じにくい。対応箇所が凹状になっている場合には、ルーフィングが凹部内に入り込んでも捨水切と接触することがなくなり、該箇所でルーフィングに破れを生ずることはない。

本発明によると、壁際で瓦が捨水切の段によって支持されるようになるため、瓦の支持が安定し、ガタ付きが防止される。

図4は、図2に示す壁際の取合い部分に装着される捨水切7を、壁際のコーナに対応する箇所21aを円弧状にした捨水切21としたものである。
本実施形態によると、ルーフィング4が壁際のコーナ部分で図示するように浮き上がっていても捨水切21装着時に押え込まれて破れるようなことがない。したがってルーフィング4を施工する際には、ルーフィング4をコーナ部分で直角に折り曲げる必要がなく、施工が容易となる。

図5は、図3に示す取合い部分に装着される捨水切7を、壁21際のコーナに対応する箇所23aを角状に窪ませて段状にした捨水切23としたもので、段23aの高さは、瓦18の裏面形状によって変えられる。
本実施形態によると、ルーフィング4がコーナ部分で図示するように浮き上がっていても捨水切23の装着に何等支障がなく、ルーフィング4の施工も容易となる。また壁際に葺かれる瓦18が段23aによって支持されるため、図示するように半端な瓦であっても支持状態が安定し、ガタ付きを生ずることはない。

図6は、図5に示す段23aの上面23bを捨水切23の凹溝23cに向かって下向きに傾斜して形成したもので、図7に示すように段上面23bに水が侵入しても溜まることなく矢印方向に流れ、凹溝23c内に流入するようになる。

請求項1に係わる発明によると、ルーフィングが壁際のコーナ部分で浮き上がった状態で取付けられていても、捨水切装着時に押え込まれて破れるようなことがなく、そのためルーフィングを施工する際には、ルーフィングをコーナ部分で直角に折り曲げる必要がなく、施工が容易となる。

請求項2に係わる発明によると、壁際に葺かれる平板瓦が半端な瓦であっても、捨水切の段で支持されるようになるため、ガタ付くことなく、取付状態が安定する。
