2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a packaging container made of a paper base material has been used as a packaging container for filling a content liquid such as milk or juice for reasons such as easy treatment after use and easy portability. The packaging container is formed into a tubular shape by vertically sealing a band-shaped packaging material, filling the content therein, forming a semi-pack with upper and lower horizontal seals, and then into a desired polygonal column-shaped packaging container. Form. At this time, in order to prevent an accident that the edge of the packaging material directly touches the content liquid, the edge of the packaging material directly expands due to the penetration of the content liquid and the internal solution leaks, In order to protect and seal the vicinity of the end, a strip-shaped end protection tape formed by laminating a thermoplastic resin is melt-pressed to cover the end of the packaging material. Although the end protection tape has a multilayer structure, at least two outermost layers are generally made of a thermoplastic resin of polyethylene or an ethylene copolymer. Since the polyethylene or ethylene copolymer is widely used on the inner and outer surfaces of the packaging material main body, when the vertical sealing and the horizontal sealing of the packaging material are performed, the end protection tape has no problem with the packaging material. It can be fused.

In the vertical line sealing portion, an accident such as leakage of the internal solution due to expansion of the end portion due to penetration of the content liquid occurs due to the end of the packaging material directly touching the content liquid. In order to prevent the problem, or to further supplement the edge protection and the sealing performance near the edge, an elongated strip-shaped edge protection tape formed by laminating a thermoplastic resin is melt-pressed to form the edge of the packaging material. Is covered. However, the conventional strip-shaped end protection tape is formed by laminating an end protection tape formed by laminating a thermoplastic resin so that the end of the packaging material does not directly touch the contents in the bent vertical line seal portion, and the above-mentioned melt-pressed end protection tape is used. Even if the edges of the packaging material are covered, both ends of the edge protection tape itself are in contact with the content liquid, so the problem of the edges of the packaging material itself has been solved. There was a problem that there might be.

FIG. 1 is a diagram for explaining an embodiment of the present invention.
The state of sticking of the end protection tape 10 in the vertical line seal portion 4 inside the packaging container is shown. As can be seen from the figure, in the end protection tape 10 attached to the end of the vertical line seal portion 4 of the packaging material appearing on the inner side of the packaging container formed by the packaging material made of the paper base material, the end protection tape is The outermost two layers are made of a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene or ethylene copolymer resin. The outermost two layers are protected by a process (not shown) so as to enclose other resin layers inside. Since it is an end protection tape inside the packaging container, which is formed integrally at the end of the tape, the end of the packaging material does not directly touch the contents in the vertical line seal portion, and the end The problem of delamination occurring due to the penetration of the content liquid from both ends of the protective tape itself has been eliminated. The method for producing the end protection tape utilizes a so-called encapsulation effect in which, when resins having different physical properties are simultaneously co-extruded, the outermost layer naturally wraps the inner layer due to the different properties of the resin. Therefore, according to the manufacturing method, the process can be simplified as compared with the case of the multilayer coating by the conventional extrusion method, so that there is an effect of quality improvement and cost reduction. The end protection tape has a multilayer structure. The outermost two layers are formed of polyethylene or ethylene copolymer resin, but the inner layer can be freely combined with barrier resin such as PET or EVOH and other materials depending on the application. And these are not excluded from the present invention.
