Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home elevator allowing a person to get in and out at a home by use of a wheelchair without a manual help and utilize the elevator by providing a slope electrically protruding and recessing under the entrance floor of a house having a stepped entrance, and providing a control body for operating the slope near the slope. SOLUTION: An operating body 8 is operated by a motor 7 to protrude and recess a slope 6. The motor 7 is normally and reversely rotated by operating control bodies 9, 10. When a physically handicapped person comes home on a wheelchair and operates the control body 9, the motor 7 is normally rotated to operate the operating body 8, which then protrudes the slope 6 to the entrance side. The person gets on the entrance floor 5 by use of this protruded slope 6 and then operates the control body 10 to reversely rotate the motor 7, so that the slope 6 is stored under the entrance floor 5. The person then moves to an intended room by use of a home elevator 2.
