Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle a disposed plant in a short time at a low cost without being concerned in occurrence of environmental problems or shortage of landfill sites by processing plants such as cut grass, scattered leaves or pruned branches into a prescribed shape, using the processed plants as a raw material, stirring the raw material in a prescribed environment such as temperature, humidity, water or air, adding a fermentation material and composting the resultant material in a culture tank. SOLUTION: Disposed plants harvested from a park, a vacant land, a road, etc., are cut to 2-3 cm size with a cutter 1. The cutting is carried out depending on the size of the harvested raw material or so as to shorten the time for recycling. The cutter 1 is suitably selected as a crusher, a mill, a grinder, etc., according to the size and hardness of the raw material. In a culture tank 2, the raw material is stirred in a prescribed environment such as temperature, humidity, water or air and a fermenting material is added to compost the raw material. The fermenting material is a caffeic germ. The plant recycling apparatus 3 is composed of the cutter 1 and the culture tank 2 and the resultant fertilizer composted in the culture tank 2 is filled in a bag with a takeout and bagging machine 37.
