Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sealing structure of a cable connection, wherein accessory wires are branched from a base wire, with which the workability can be increased by using the sealing material and the material cost can be reduced by improving the yield of the sealing material and also provide a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: One or more accessory wires, for example, two accessories wires 11, 12 are branched in the middle of a base wire 10, as shown in figure and unsheathed conductors of then are joined and then calked by a connector 13 to form a joint connection. Meanwhile, a sealing member 20, with a slit which is made of soft material and is formed into a rectangular sheet and has an adhesiveness, is prepared. One side part and the other side part of the sealing member separated from the slit are called a first sealing subsection 22A and a second sealing subsection 22B. The base wire 10 and the two accessory wires 11, 12 are abutted against each other and then pasted to the inner edge part of the front face and the rear face of either of the subsections, for example, the first subsection 22A. Then, this joint is wrapped by the main part 21 of the sealing member to be coated airtightly.

On the other hand, in order to form a waterproof seal structure at the connection portion, a sealing material 5 formed into a soft and sticky sheet such as butyl rubber is prepared. The sealing member 5 has a rectangular sealing body 6 serving as a main portion, and a protruding piece 7 is provided so as to protrude from one end of the sealing body 6, and the entire planar shape is convex. First, as shown in FIG. 6 (a), a conductor 2, 4 where a base line 1 and an attachment line 3 are connected is applied on a seal body 6 using a sealing material 5 having a flat convex shape. that time,
The base line 1 is placed on one side of the projecting piece 7 of the sealing material 5 with the projecting piece 7 interposed therebetween.
Attach the accessory line 3 to the other side so that it is forked.

One is that the sealing material 5 is basically based on a shape in which one or a plurality of protruding pieces 7 protrude from its main body 6. Since the sealing material 5 has such a planar convex shape, the positioning direction and the working direction of the joint connection portion are uniquely determined, and the workability is low. Moreover,
It is difficult to determine the positioning at the beginning of the operation easily, and the quality of the completed seal structure tends to vary.

The other is that, since the planar shape is a unique shape of a convex shape, the material removal of the sealing material 5 is large, the material yield is deteriorated, and the material cost is increased.

Further, in connection with the above two problems, a plurality of accessory lines 3 are branched from the electric wire base line 1 such as two, three,. It is necessary to prepare a plurality of irregularly shaped sealing materials 5 provided with the protruding pieces 7, which is troublesome in all aspects including production management by various types.

As shown in FIG. 3A, in the seal member 20, the rear second seal sub-portion 22B divided by the slit 23 is turned up to open the portion. The parting line of one base line 10 and two attachment lines 11 and 12 is abutted on the slit side edge of the first first seal sub-portion 22A, and, for example, the base line 10 is attached to the surface of the first seal sub-portion 22A. The wires 11 and 12 are attached to the back surface for positioning. At this time, the positioning is performed with an interval of about one line between the two attached lines 11 and 12 on the back side. In addition, the connector 13 can be used as a reference when positioning the front end by abutting the slit side edge of the first seal sub-portion 22A. In this manner, the joint connection portion and the seal member 20 are relatively positioned.

When the seal member 30 of the second embodiment is used, either one of the front and back surfaces of the seal member 30 is used each time in consideration of the convenience of work, and the slits 32 and 33 corresponding to the use surface are used. Use either one of In this seal member 30, the seal member 20 of the first embodiment is further improved, and both the front and back surfaces can be immediately coped with in accordance with the workability, and the direction regulation is eliminated to further improve the usability. Improvements are being made.

In the first and second embodiments of the present invention, since the shape of the seal members 20 and 30 is basically rectangular, the planar members shown in FIG. The material yield is remarkably improved as compared with the seal member 5 having a shape. A substantially L-shaped seal member shown in FIG. 5 is proposed as the seal member. However, in terms of material loss, the L-shaped seal member 40 is compared with the flat convex seal member 5 of FIG. Even better.

However, in the case of the rectangular sealing members 20 and 30 according to the first and second embodiments, the material yield is further improved as compared with the L-shaped sealing member 40 shown in FIG. Can be realized.

That is, in the seal member 40 shown in FIG. 5, the length dimension of the seal main portion 41 is set to L similarly to each of the seal members 20 and 30 of the present embodiment. The width W2 is an added value of the width a of the seal main portion 41 and the length b of the protrusion of the seal sub-portion 42. It is a letter shape.

On the other hand, the seal members 20 and 30 of the present embodiment are smaller than the width W2 of the seal member 40 of FIG. Only W1 is required (W2> W1), so that the size can be considerably reduced. Moreover, material loss due to the provision of the slits 23, 32, 33 in the rectangular seal members 20, 30 is hardly a problem, and the material cost can be reduced together with the processing cost.

As described above, the electric wire connecting portion sealing structure according to the present invention is used for waterproofing a branch portion between a base line forming a joint connecting portion by connecting conductors and an arbitrary number of attached wires. The direction regulation at the time of the sealing operation by the sealing member is eliminated, so that the operation efficiency is remarkably improved, and the material yield is good, so that the minimum material cost is required.

The number of accessory lines branching from the base line is 2
Even if the number increases, such as three or three, it can be dealt with only by preparing a single kind of seal member, and the inconvenience of preparing seal members having different shapes by the number corresponding to the number of accessory lines as in the related art is solved. This has the advantage of reducing production management costs including equipment costs and assembly work costs.
