Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation apparatus having a simple and compact structure and same desirable properties such as easiness to be maintained or cleaned as those of an inertial dust collecting apparatus and a higher separation (dust collecting) efficiency than an inertial dust collecting apparatus. SOLUTION: Wall bodies 2, 3 are so installed as to form an X-shape cross-section and the side wall faces 5 defined by the neighboring wall bodies 2, 3 and formed as curved faces are utilized as baffle plate members 1. A baffle plate 11 is constituted by reciprocally arranging a plurality of baffle plate members 1 in zigzag arrangement as to insert the wall bodies 2 of the respective baffle plate member 1 between spaces formed between neighboring side wall faces 5 of the respective babble plate member 1 at proper distance from the side wall faces 5. A gas containing impurities such as powder dust and mist is passed through the baffle plate 11 to separate and remove the impurities from the gas.

[0003] Such oil smoke and oil mist also contain dusts such as metal powder, and as a device for separating these impurities from the gas to produce a clean gas, the inertia force due to a sudden change in the flow direction has been conventionally used. Inertial dust collectors such as louver dust collectors used, centrifugal dust collectors such as cyclones using centrifugal force generated by rotational movement, and filters using filter bodies such as woven fabric, filter paper, and fiber packed layer A dust collector is used.

Here, a filter dust collector using a filter such as a woven fabric is a device capable of efficiently separating (dust collecting) impurities contained in a gas, but it is necessary to periodically clean or replace the filter. Is indispensable and has a major problem in terms of maintenance. In addition, inertial dust collectors that use inertial force due to sudden changes in flow direction have a relatively simple structure, many compact objects, and easy maintenance such as cleaning. The re-scattering phenomenon in which the impurities are removed again by the air current is apt to occur, and there is a problem in terms of separation (dust collection) efficiency.
Furthermore, in centrifugal precipitators that use centrifugal force generated by rotational movement, the separation (dust collection) efficiency is higher than that of the above-mentioned inertial precipitators, and many of them are easy to maintain.
There is a problem that the device is generally increased in size.

As a result of repeated tests and studies to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present inventors have found that when the flow of airflow is suddenly changed by a baffle plate as in an inertial dust collector, the flow is reduced. Can be rotated inside the baffle plate, impurities can be separated from the gas by centrifugal force as well as inertia force, and impurities separated from gas by the action of centrifugal force can be pressed against the wall surface of the baffle plate. It has been found that the separation (dust collection) efficiency is dramatically improved because scattering can be prevented, and the present invention has been completed.

Here, in the present invention, in order to provide a baffle plate capable of imparting a rotational force to a gas that passes through the baffle plate, a top end of each wall of the baffle plate member constituting the baffle plate is provided with: It is preferable to form columnar projections. Also,
When a groove extending in the longitudinal direction is formed on the side wall surface of the baffle plate member, the groove captures impurities in the gas pressed against the side wall surface of the baffle plate member by centrifugal force and guides the impurities downward. In order to achieve the above, it is preferable to provide a device capable of preventing the re-scattering of more separated impurities. Further, the two baffle pieces having the baffle plate members erected alternately are inserted between the baffle plate members erected on one frame piece and the baffle plate members erected on the other frame piece. It is preferable to form the baffle plate by combining the baffle plates in a state in which the baffle plate can be easily manufactured and maintenance such as cleaning can be easily performed. In addition, it is preferable to arrange the baffle plates in a plurality of rows in the gas flow direction, because the separation device has a higher separation (dust collection) efficiency.

As shown in FIG. 4, the separating device 13 according to the present invention configured as described above, when the gas containing impurities passes through the baffle plate 11, rotates the gas in various places as shown in FIG. In FIG. 4, a gas flow indicated by a dashed line) is generated, and impurities can be efficiently separated from the gas by utilizing the centrifugal force generated by the rotation. The impurities separated from the gas are pressed against the side wall surface 5 of each of the baffle plate members 1 constituting the baffle plate 11 by centrifugal force to prevent the impurities from re-scattering and to prevent the impurities from being re-scattered. 5, is guided downward and discharged to the outside through a hole 10 formed in the frame piece 9, and the gas becomes a clean gas, passes through the baffle plate 11, and is exhausted. Is more exhausted.

For example, the cross-sectional shape of the baffle plate member 1 shown in the above embodiment is merely an example, and, for example, four walls having the same width may be arranged in a substantially X-shaped cross section.
Further, the structure of the baffle plate 11 using the two frame pieces 9 on which the baffle plate member 1 shown in the above-described embodiment is erected is merely an example. For example, one wall of the baffle plate member is adjacent to the structure. A plurality of baffle plate members may be arranged in a staggered manner so as to enter the side wall surface of the baffle plate member at an appropriate interval, and both ends of each baffle plate member may be fixed to a frame to form a baffle plate. Good, however, if the structure of the baffle plate 11 shown in the embodiment is used, two frame pieces 9 to be used can use a common one (having the configuration shown in FIG. 2), which facilitates manufacture and Baffle board 1
At the time of cleaning, the space between the baffle plate members 1 and 1 is widened by disassembling into two frame pieces 9 (the state shown in FIG. 3) before assembly, and maintenance such as cleaning is easy. Is preferable. Further, the structure of the separation device 13 shown in the above embodiment is also an example. For example, the baffle plate 11 is simply provided in the middle of a duct through which a gas containing impurities flows.
May be installed.
