【課題】本発明の課題は、高周波域における電波吸収が

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、例えば電波暗室な
どに用いる電波吸収材に関するものである。

【従来の技術】従来のこの種の電波吸収材は、金属、炭
素、磁性材料などの粉体や繊維を、布状にしたり、発泡
高分子などのマトリクス中に分散させたもの、あるいは

あった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、従来の
電波吸収材は高周波域において電波の減衰量が小さくな
るという欠点があり、また、金属系の電波吸収材は電波
を反射させることで内部への電波の侵入を阻止するもの
であって、単独で電波暗室の壁面に用いることができな
かった。本発明は上記の事情に鑑みてなされたもので、
高周波域における電波吸収が実現できる電波吸収材を提
供することを目的とする。
電波吸収材は高周波域において電波の減衰量が小さくな
るという欠点があり、また、金属系の電波吸収材は電波
を反射させることで内部への電波の侵入を阻止するもの
であって、単独で電波暗室の壁面に用いることができな
かった。本発明は上記の事情に鑑みてなされたもので、
高周波域における電波吸収が実現できる電波吸収材を提
供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は上記の課題を解
決するため、高周波域において比誘電率と誘電正接の大
きな水分を吸収した吸水材料を発水性被覆で包込んだ電
波吸収材を提案する。さらに、吸水材料の片側の面に対
応して発水性被覆に接する状態ないし埋め込む状態で箔
状またはメッシュ状の金属板を設ける。また、吸水材料
に吸収させる水分に磁性および導電性を有するイオンを
含ませた電波吸収材を提供する。さらに、発水性被覆の
一部に密封可能な注水口を設ける。また、発水性被覆の
一部を気体状態の水分を透過可能な状態にする。

大きな比誘電率と誘電正接を利用して、高周波域におけ
る電波吸収が実現できる。さらに、箔状またはメッシュ
状の金属板を吸水材料の片側の面に対応して設けること
により、外部から到来する電波の内部への侵入を確実に
阻止できるとともに、外部へ反射する電波も低減するこ
とができるうえ、金属板のアンカー効果により電波吸収
材取付け時の保持力を増すことができる。また、吸水材
料に磁性および導電性を有するイオンを分散させた水分
を吸収させることにより、低周波から高周波までの広い
周波数帯域に渡って大きな電波吸収を得ることができ
る。さらに、発水性被覆の一部に密封可能な注水口を設
けることにより、電波吸収材の取付け作業性を著しく改
善することができる。また、発水性被覆の一部を気体状
態の水分を透過可能な状態にすることにより、自動的に
水分量を調整することも可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】以下図面を参照して本発明の実施
の形態例を詳細に説明する。図１は本発明の第１の実施
形態例を説明する断面図であり、１は水分を吸収した状
態の吸水材料、２は吸水状態の吸水材料１を包込む発水
性の被覆である。すなわち、水分を吸収するための吸水
材料に水を吸収させ、水を吸収させた吸水材料１を発水
性を有する被覆２により包込む。以降の図において、同
じ構成物は同一の符号を用い、その説明を省略する。

できる。従って、第１の実施形態例の電波吸収材は、従
来の電波吸収材と異なり、１ＧＨｚ以上の高周波域で大
きな電波吸収が実現できる。

る吸水材料１の中を減衰しながら伝搬した後に金属板３
で反射されるため、金属板３の裏側には電波が到達せ
ず、より一層のシールド効果が得られる。さらに、金属
板３で反射され到来方向に戻る電波は、実効的に厚み２
ｄの吸水状態にある吸水材料１の中を減衰しながら伝搬
するため、外部の電磁界にほとんど影響しない。すなわ
ち、反射波の影響を極めて小さくできる。また、アンカ
ー効果が得られるよう金属板３に凹凸を形成することに
より、電波吸収体の接着力を増大させ壁面等にしっかり
固定させることもできる。

Claims (5)
- 【請求項１】 水分を吸収するための吸水材料と、 該吸水材料に吸収させた水と、 該水を吸収させた吸水材料を包込むための発水性を有す
る被覆とを具備することを特徴とする電波吸収材。 - 【請求項２】 請求項１記載の電波吸収材において、 吸水材料の片側の面に対応した発水性を有する被覆に、
該被覆と接する状態もしくは埋め込まれた状態で箔状も
しくはメッシュ状の金属板を設けたことを特徴とする電
波吸収材。 - 【請求項３】 請求項１または２記載の電波吸収材にお
いて、 吸水材料は磁性および導電性を有するイオンを含む水分
を吸収できるものであり、該吸水材料に吸収させる水に
前記磁性および導電性を有するイオンを分散させたこと
を特徴とする電波吸収材。 - 【請求項４】 請求項１、２または３記載の電波吸収材
において、 発水性を有する被覆の一部に密封可能な注水口を設けた
ことを特徴とする電波吸水材。 - 【請求項５】 請求項１、２、３または４記載の電波吸
収材において、 発水性を有する被覆の吸水材料の片側の面に接する部分
を気体状態の水分が透過可能な発水性被覆にしたことを
特徴とする電波吸水材。
