L’invenzione concerne un elemento per la realizzazione di segnaletica stradale orizzontale ed in particolare di un elemento da applicare a superfici stradali destinate al calpestio e/o al transito di persone e/o di veicoli per realizzare attraversamenti pedonali, mezzerie ed ogni altro tipo di segnaletica orizzontale. Un primo inconveniente delle soluzioni note è costituito dal fatto che la segnaletica orizzontale così ottenuta è carente, inefficiente e poco riflettente. La normativa vigente prevede infatti che i segnali orizzontali debbano essere sempre mantenuti efficienti e che quando essi non siano più rispondenti allo scopo per il quale sono stati eseguiti, debbano essere rimossi e/o ripristinati. In particolare tutti i segni orizzontali tracciati sulle pavimentazioni stradali che servono a regolare la circolazione oppure a guidare gli utenti od a fornire prescrizioni o utili indicazioni, per particolari comportamenti da eseguire, devono essere realizzati con materiali tali da renderli visibili sia di giorno che di notte, anche in presenza di pioggia o con fondo stradale bagnato.
