Ski boot (1) comprising a rigid shell (2) which is shaped in such a way as to accommodate the user's foot, and a rigid cuff (5) which is hinged on the shell (2) in such a way it can rotate around a first reference axis (A) substantially coinciding with the articulation axis of the user's ankle, and is shaped in such a way as to surround the user's ankle; the boot (1) being also provided with a protective tongue (8) of oblong shape which is positioned resting on the shell (2), covering a longitudinal slit that extends along the upper part of the shell (2); the protective tongue (8) being folded substantially L-shaped so that the lower portion of the tongue (8a) covers the initial portion of the longitudinal slot of the shell which extends above the instep, and in such a way that the upper portion the tab (8b) covers the final portion of the longitudinal slit of the shell which extends substantially above the lower part of the tibia; the protective tab (8) being structured in such a way that the lower portion (8a) and the upper portion of the tab (8b) are both substantially rigid and non-deformable, and being also provided with an elastically deformable intermediate portion (8c) which connects the lower portion (8a) and the upper portion of the tab (8b) to each other; the ski boot (1) being characterized in that it further comprises locking means for the tongue (11) which are selectively adapted to rigidly connect the upper portion of the tongue (8b) to the body of the cuff (5).

Ski boot according to claim 1, characterized in that said means for locking the tongue (11) comprise: - a transversal strap (12), which has a first end rigidly anchored on a first lateral side of the cuff (5), and extends over the protective tongue (8), immediately above the intermediate portion (8c) of the latter, in such a way as to bring the second end of the strap (12) close to the second lateral side of the cuff (5); and - a device for hooking and tensioning the webbing (13), which is rigidly anchored to the second side of the cuff (5), and is structured in such a way as to hook the second end of said webbing (12) and be able to tighten the transverse webbing (12) against the protective tab (8); said transversal webbing (12) being furthermore equipped with at least a first protruding crest (12a) which is dimensioned in such a way as to engage / engage in a corresponding auxiliary notch (8d) obtained on the upper portion of the tongue (8b), immediately above of the intermediate portion of the tab (8c).

Ski boot according to claim 2, characterized in that the transverse webbing (12) of the locking means of the tongue (11) is provided with at least one first protruding longitudinal rib (12a) which is dimensioned in such a way as to engaging / engaging in a corresponding transverse groove (8d) made on the upper portion of the tongue (8b), immediately above the intermediate portion of the tongue (8c).
