The present invention refers to a new type of beverage containers. In particular, the invention in question refers to a new type of bottles, preferably in plastic, suitable for being easily transportable by any user by means of components, and in particular by means of the components of a cap, which allow the bottle to be connected. in a practical and quick way to the belt loops of garments such as trousers, shorts and the like and which are worn by the user of the container himself.
Stato dell’arte State of the art
The bottles represent today the containers that are mostly used for the containment of liquid substances. These widely used objects are in fact suitable for containing substances such as water, milk, soft drinks, beer, wine, cooking oil and / or other food products, but are also suitable for containing liquid substances such as medicines, fuels, liquid soaps, and many other commonly used products.
Surely a class of bottles produced and sold on a very large scale and which is used for various uses, is represented by plastic bottles usually used to contain water, milk, soft drinks and similar beverages. The body of these containers and more specifically of these bottles is generally made of PET, starting from molded and blown preforms, while the cap is usually made of PE, PP or HDPE.
The preforms used are substantially characterized by a finish whose shape and structure are not subsequently modified by blowing, but remain unchanged in the blown container. The various finishes differ from each other in particular for the diameter and the type of thread, that is the set of transversal reliefs that are present on them and which guarantee the possibility of screwing to a certain type of cap. The precursor finishes of bottles are also characterized by the presence of a tubular structure, which is subsequently blown, whose grammage or weight in grams, and whose shape, are fundamental for the characteristics found in the blown finished product. For example, the heavier the tubular component of the preform is, the more resistant the final container will be, while the shape of the tubular structure of the preform, and in particular its length, affects the distribution of the material constituting the body of the bottle in the finished product. In particular, the length of the tubular component of the preform affects the distribution of the PET in the final container and must therefore be studied in relation to the shape and characteristics to be given to the finished product. The PET mixture used to produce the preforms can also possibly be added with coloring substances which give a particular color to the finished bottle and which therefore contribute to the aesthetic character of the bottle itself.
To date, although these objects used for containing drinks can be considered useful if not essential for multiple purposes, given their ease of use and the relatively low cost that characterizes them, they are in any case one of the major and recent sources of pollution.
In fact, about 200 billion plastic bottles are consumed every year and of which only a very low percentage (about 12%) is recycled. Furthermore, even if all the plastic bottles produced and used were destined for recycling, the latter would not in many cases represent the ideal solution to the problem of pollution. Recycling has in fact been criticized in many sectors for reasons attributable to the huge environmental costs of the waste transformation process that characterize it, to the low quantitative yield of the â € œpureâ € material obtained at the end of the process, and also to the low performance quality of the characteristics of the product resulting from the processing in question. This system, also representing the most obvious solution to the problem of pollution, has also often been seen as an incentive to a typically consumerist behavior.
The systems that are currently considered the most effective for waste management are those based on the concept of waste reduction and their reuse, according to which once the use of an object is finished, the latter must not go to increase the amount of waste, but, after a simple cleaning operation, it must be used again while avoiding that the materials from which it is composed undergo transformations.
The typical example is represented by glass bottles which, instead of being crushed, can be refilled without having to undergo expensive transformation processes not only from an economic point of view but also from an environmental point of view.
A recent solution conceived and built in accordance with the principles of reusing objects such as bottles for containing drinks, is given by a portable bottle that can be reused over and over again, which also has the advantage of being foldable on itself. when empty.
Documents US D619,906 S and US D622,612 S describe this recent and well-known portable / reusable bottle which is, in its most advanced version, substantially made up of three layers of ultra-resistant plastic material. The innermost layer is usually made of polyethylene which is then bonded to two layers of nylon to increase its strength and durability and is also equipped with a carabiner suitable for attaching the bottle, in a practical and fast way, to one of the loops for trouser belts or a backpack. However, although this type of bottle is undoubtedly suitable for its reuse for the containment of beverages, it has limitations substantially represented by the relative complexity of its structure and in more detail its multi-layer structure which is also accompanied by relatively high manufacturing costs compared to to common plastic bottles, and also by the optical characteristics of the bottle itself which is usually, but not necessarily, opaque.
In this regard, the present invention, which will be described in detail hereinafter, proposes a new and innovative type of portable bottles which can be reused once the initial content of beverage contained therein has been exhausted. More specifically, the bottle in question has a body similar to common transparent plastic bottles, and components such as a cap with characteristics that allow the user of the liquid container to carry said container with him, connecting it in a practical way. and fast to a belt loop present on a garment worn by the user himself.
Descrizione dell’invenzione Description of the invention
The present invention describes a new and innovative type of portable bottles, suitable for containing beverages such as water, soft drinks and the like, to be reused once their internal contents have been consumed or once the beverage to be transported has been used up. In more detail, the present invention describes a new type of bottles, preferably made of transparent plastic material, similar to the common plastic bottles currently available on the market and made by blowing a precursor such as a preform. Said preform comprises a threaded finish and a common tubular structure able to be expanded by means of the aforementioned blowing.
Even more in detail, the beverage container object of the present patent application for industrial invention comprises, as a characterizing part, a cap that allows the container, or the bottle, to be connected with great practicality and speed to elements such as belt loops usually found on clothing such as trousers, shorts and bags. These garments being worn by the user himself, allow the latter to carry the container in question without having to resort to the use of additional containers such as bags, backpacks or the like.
In particular, the present invention describes a container for beverages comprising an expanded tubular portion used to contain the beverage, and a finish, or an optionally threaded neck, adaptable to a cap having peculiarities such as to make the container transportable in its entirety, and in particular it can be connected to the aforementioned systems such as belt loops or similarly suitable components, by means of a special device present at the base of the cap.
In fact, said cap has a lower edge presenting a partially removable circular portion, by way of a common tab, from a body with which it is initially integrated. In more detail, the cap has a circular base from which it is possible to obtain a tab with a simple manual removal mechanism, for example by tear-off. The cap of the container in question also has, again in correspondence with its circular base, a hole for inserting and locking the free end of the tab partially removed from the circular base of the cap itself. These characteristics make it possible to obtain a cap on which it is possible to make a slot that favors the attachment of the cap, as well as the bottle assembled to it, to the loop of the garment worn by the user of the bottle.
The mechanism of use of the container in question is practical and fast and requires in sequence, as the only operations, the partial removal of the tab from the base of the cap, the passage of said tab through a specific loop of a garment or bag, and the Insertion and locking of the free end of the tab inside the hole present in correspondence with the circular base of the cap itself.
These simple aforementioned operations ultimately make it possible to connect, by hooking, the container, or the bottle, to a specific garment worn by the user of the bottle.
The body of the latter, that is the expanded preform suitable for containing the drink, is closed by screwing through a common system equipped with a control band on the cap in question, being the latter optionally equipped with a thread in its part internal adaptable to the thread of the bottle finish. Alternatively, said closure can be interlocking. When the cap is breaded as described, the container object of the invention is particularly useful: the user of the bottle will in fact have to perform the operation of attaching the cap to the loop of the garment only once, and will be able to drink from the neck of the bottle at any time you wish, simply by unscrewing the neck of the bottle from the aforementioned cap which will remain attached to the loop or to the bag to which it was previously attached.
More specifically, the portable container in question comprises a cap which is profiled in such a way as to present a lower tubular portion, an upper tubular portion and an internal tubular portion which is concentric with the lower tubular portion of the cap. The cap is therefore shaped and sized in such a way as to ensure its fastening to the neck of the bottle, for example by screwing said neck with the thread of the cap or by interlocking. The thread is present on the internal surface of the internal tubular portion of the cap and guarantees its correct screwing with the corresponding thread on the neck of the bottle. The lower tubular portion of the cap and the internal tubular portion are also sized in such a way as to create a space between the two portions to allow the free end of the tab to pass through the hole in correspondence with the circular base of the cap or at the base of said lower tubular portion. In this way it will be possible to form the buttonhole to allow the attachment to the loop of the garment or bag.
A further characteristic of the cap of the container according to the present invention is given by the presence of at least one hole present on the upper tubular portion. The latter is also equipped with a cap to prevent the liquid from escaping from said hole. These characteristics ultimately make the container in question adaptable to the needs of the user. In particular, if it is not required to connect the container to the loop, the user can decide to drink his drink from the hole (i) present on the upper tubular portion covered by the aforementioned removable cap.
It is also important to point out that the closing mechanism of the container, with the cap, does not necessarily have to take place by screwing the thread of the cap with that of the neck of the bottle as described above, but can also be obtained with a common interlocking mechanism pressure.

In greater detail, Figure 2 (a) shows a front view of the bottle 2 on which two main portions can be identified, and in particular an expanded tubular portion 3 suitable for containing the drink, and a threaded neck 4, having a thread 13, and suitable for upon insertion and exit of the drink. Figure 2 (b) instead shows a front view of the cap 5 on which two areas, or portions, joined together and forming a single body with said cap 5, can be identified. In more detail, figure 2 (b) highlights the presence of a lower tubular portion 6 and of an upper tubular portion 7 which can be narrowed with respect to said lower tubular portion 6 and which extends above the latter. Said upper tubular portion 7 is also covered by a cap 16, which can be removed from the cap 5 with known mechanisms. The figure also shows that the lower tubular portion 6 has a circular base 9 from which a tongue 10 can be obtained which is subsequently suitable for forming the slot 12. In more detail, figure 2 (b) shows that the tongue 10, obtained by partial removal of the circular base 9 from the cap 5, it has two ends, and in particular a fixed end 10â € ™ stably connected to the base of the cap 5 and a mobile end 10â € ™ â € ™. The latter is able to be inserted and locked inside the hole 11, in a circular or elliptical shape, present on the residual circular base 9 of the cap 5, so as to consequently generate the slot 12 (not shown in figure 2 (b)).
The figure also shows that said end 10â € ™ â € ™ is shaped like an arrowhead, in order to avoid the involuntary disengagement of the end 10â € ™ â € ™ from hole 11 once inserted. Figure 2 (c) instead shows a plan view of the internal portion of the cap 5. In greater detail, figure 2 (c) shows the presence of an internal tubular portion 8, concentric and integral with the lower tubular portion 6 of the cap 5, and having a thread 14 on its internal surface. The latter is adapted to allow screwing of the threaded cap 4 with said cap 5. The thread 14 is equipped with a control band. Figure 2 (d) instead shows a plan view of the upper external portion of the cap 5. The figure highlights not only the presence of the lower tubular portion 6 and the upper tubular portion 7 of the cap 5, but also the presence of a plurality of holes 15 present on said upper tubular portion 7. Said holes 15 are adapted to allow the user to drink the beverage contained in the bottle 2, avoiding removing the cap 5 from the threaded neck 4. Furthermore, inside the cap 16 there are a plurality of teeth able to fit inside the plurality of holes 15 present on the upper tubular portion 7. This choice is generally feasible when the transport of the portable container is not required 1 by hooking it to a specific belt loop or to a similar element. In this latter condition, however, as will be described in detail below, the user uses the drink contained in the bottle 2, removing the threaded neck 4 from the cap 5 which remains instead connected to the loop. FIGURE 3 shows a front view of the cap 5 which indicates the presence of the element that allows the removal of the tab 10 from the circular base 9 of the cap 5. More in detail, figure 3 (a) shows a front view of the cap 5 in which it is possible to observe the presence of the toothing 17 suitable for allowing the removal of the tab 10 from the circular base 9 of the cap 5 with a tear-off removal mechanism. Figure 3 (b) instead shows a front view of the cap 5 in which it is possible to observe the presence of a gasket 18 designed to facilitate the removal of the tab 10 by previously removing said gasket 18 from the cap 5. In the latter case, once the gasket 18 has been removed, the tab 10 can be completely separated from the cap 5 and will constitute an independent ring placed under the cap 5 itself, but capable of creating the slot 12, thanks to the presence of the tab 10. Both figures 3 (a) and 3 (b) show the detail of the arrowhead profile of the end 10â € ™ â € ™ of the tab 10 to be inserted inside the hole 11.
Descrizione delle forme di realizzazioni preferite Description of the preferred embodiments
In a first embodiment of the invention described in the present document, the portable container 1 for beverages comprises a bottle 2 and at least one cap 5. In greater detail, two main portions can be identified on the bottle 2 of the container in question, and in particular one expanded tubular portion 3, suitable for containing the beverage, and a finish, that is a threaded neck 4 suitable for the inlet and outlet of the beverage. The most characterizing component of the portable container 1 object of the invention is represented by the cap 5. The latter has in fact characteristics such as to allow its connection, as well as that of the bottle 2, breaded to it to any of the belt loops present on the clothing worn by the user of the container himself or to a bag, consequently allowing the bottle to be transported 2.
Said cap 5 has in more detail a lower tubular portion 6, an upper tubular portion 7, possibly narrowed with respect to said lower tubular portion 6 and forming with it a single body, the two portions being stably joined, and an internal tubular portion 8 which is concentric with the lower tubular portion 6 and which forms with the latter a gap 19. Said gap 19 is of fundamental importance for the purpose of the present invention since it allows to create the space suitable for allowing the insertion of the Free end 10â € inside hole 11.
From the circular base 9, it is possible to obtain, by means of a simple manual detachment mechanism, the tab 10 which is adapted to allow the attachment of the portable container 1 to a specific belt loop or bag present on a garment, such as a trousers, worn by the user of the container in question. The tab 10 in fact has two ends, one of which is fixed and joined to the cap 5, and the other movable and orientable. In more detail, the tab 10 has a fixed end 10 'which is an extension of the circular base 9 from which it was obtained, and a mobile and free end 10' which is suitable to be inserted and locked through its insertion into the hole 11 present on the residual portion, i.e. not constituting the tab 10, of the circular base 9 of the lower tubular portion 6 of the cap 5.
The insertion of the end 10â € ™ â € ™ of the tab 10 inside said hole 11 is such as to generate a slot 12 able to be hooked to any belt or bag loop present on a specific garment worn by the user, consequently allowing the transport of the bottle 2 which is thus connected to the cap 5. This configuration is therefore obtained by the user of the container in question, carrying out in sequence the operations of detaching the tab 10 from the circular base 9 of the cap 5, and insertion of the end 10â € ™ â € ™ of said tab 10 inside the hole 11. The aforementioned detachment of the tab 10 from the circular base 9 can for example take place by means of a common mechanism detachment with toothed tear-off thanks to the presence of a tear-off toothing 17 present in the points of the circular base 9 from which the tongue 10 can be obtained. The hole 11 is guaranteed since the end 10â € ™ â € ™ of the tongue 10 is profiled and dimensioned in such a way as to allow its insertion inside the hole 11 but also, thanks to its arrow shape , in such a way as to prevent spontaneous leakage, that is, without the intervention of the user of the container according to the present invention.
In particular in its preferred embodiment, the end 10â € ™ â € ™ of the tab 10 is shaped like an arrowhead, with the base of the arrow narrower than the tab itself.
As aforesaid, the formation of the slot 12, obtained by carrying out the operations described above, makes it possible to make the bottle 2 transportable by its user. Said bottle 2 is in fact joined to the cap 5 with a common closing mechanism, for example, by screwing, bayonet or interlocking. In more detail, the threaded neck 4 of the bottle 2 has a thread 13 capable of being screwed with a corresponding thread 14 which is present on the internal surface of the internal tubular portion 8 of the cap 5. Alternatively, the neck 4 of the bottle 2 is shaped so to allow its interlocking or bayonet fitting in the internal tubular portion 8.
This common and known characteristic, combined with the characteristics of the cap 5 described above, allows the user to use the drink contained in the bottle 2 whenever he wishes. In order to drink, the user will in fact simply have to unscrew or unscrew the threaded neck 4 of the bottle 2 from the cap 5 which, on the other hand, remains connected to the loop of his clothing. If the transport of bottle 2 is not required, the user can alternatively decide to use his drink, drinking not from the threaded neck 4, as happens in the case of transporting the container in question, but from the cap itself. 5. The latter in fact has, in one of the embodiments of the container in question, on its upper tubular portion 7 at least one hole 15 suitable for the inlet and outlet of the drink. More in detail, in its preferred embodiment the upper tubular portion 7, constituting with the lower tubular portion 6 a single body, has at least one hole (15), and preferably nine holes 15, having a diameter between 1 mm and 10 mm and preferably 5 mm. In order to avoid the involuntary exit of the drink from the bottle 2 and in particular from the hole (i) 15, the cap 5 is provided with a cap 16 able to cover said upper tubular portion 7 and functioning in a similar way to the common caps for caps present on many bottles currently on the market. Furthermore, said cap 16 can be equipped with a plurality of teeth adapted to be inserted inside the respective holes 15, so as to seal the contents of the bottle 2. As mentioned above in its preferred embodiment, the portable container 1 is characterized from threads that allow the assembly of the bottle 2 to the cap 5. This characteristic is not limiting to the scope of the present invention, therefore, in a further embodiment of the container in question, the closure of the bottle 2 with the cap 5 takes place with a simple and known pressure closure system, or with a common bayonet closure system.
The tear-off mechanism for removing the tab 10 from the circular base 9 of the cap 5 is also not limiting to the scope of the present invention. The removal of the tab 10 can in fact take place, as described above, by tearing off a toothing 17 present in correspondence with the points of the circular base 9 from which said tab 10 is obtained, or, alternatively and in another embodiment, by previously removing a gasket 18 which joins the tab 10, in a wound conformation, to the cap 5 so that said tab 10, in this configuration, constitutes the entire circular base 9 of the cap 5. In a further shape the tongue 10 can be stopped on the cap 5 by means of a common snap button or by means of Velcro.
In all its embodiments the bottle 2 is preferably made of an optically transparent plastic material such as PET, while the cap 5 is preferably made of PP and / or PE and / or HDPE and / or any other polymeric material with properties similar to said materials.
Furthermore, the bottle 2 of the portable container 1 according to the present invention is such as to accommodate a volume of beverage between 200 ml and 2000 ml and preferably 750 ml.
