Un anello a strappo (9) opera su un settore o linguetta (1) dotato di un parziale perimetro preinciso (2) e di una zona d'estremità (3) in grado di ripiegarsi su se stessa, ma non di distaccarsi dalla superficie del coperchio (5) di chiusura sigillato lungo il bordo (4) delle lattine sul quale lo stesso settore è inciso. La trazione dell'anello (9) provoca il distacco del settore o linguetta (1) dal coperchio e consente il ripiegamento dello stesso lungo il bordo (4) e lungo la superficie periferica esterna (6) delle lattine, senza separazione delle parti. Per le lattine utilizzate per alimentari, al di sotto del vano aperto (10) lasciato libero dall'asportazione e ripiegamento del settore (1), e presenta una membrana (11) che si impegna parzialmente al di sotto del coperchio di chiusura (5) e che comprende una zona delimitata (12) forata per l'inserimento di una cannuccia (13) in dotazione alle lattine.
