Description
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
del brevetto per INVENZIONE INDUSTRIALE dal titolo: of the patent for INDUSTRIAL INVENTION entitled:
TESTO DELLA DESCRIZIONE TEXT OF THE DESCRIPTION
It is well known that certain objects or processing details, depending on their subsequent destination, must be washed (from residues, oils, fats, etc.) in order to make their surface clean. After washing said objects or details, in general, to eliminate traces of detergents, they must undergo neutralization with rinsing, even repeated. Finally, so that no wet or humid areas remain on the surfaces of the rinsed objects, which could cause aggression (such as oxidation) or stains or halos (such as deposits due to water hardness or other causes), they must be dried by adopting particular precautions.
Currently, the aforementioned final rinsing and drying operations are carried out in an atmospheric environment and therefore in the presence of air components (oxygen, humidity, various vapors, etc.) and also in the presence of normal dust always present in the air.
Despite the most scrupulous precautions and attentions, even having long times, the success of a more or less pushed result is not always achievable.
The purpose of the present patent is to be able to obtain dried objects quickly and safely with the surface without stains and halos.
This is possible by adopting a particular procedure in a suitable equipment (both of which are the subject of the patent) which allow to exploit known principles of physics and. thermodynamics in particular. The principles inherent in the vapor pressure, the boiling of liquids, the pressure and expansion of the gaseous substances, the thermal transmission and finally the law that, according to the formula P x V = K.T, correlates the volume, the pressure and temperature. The purposes of the process and of the equipment of this patent which concern rinsing and drying as the final phase of an industrial washing plant, are the following:
- avere tempi ristretti fra due cicli; - have tight times between two cycles;
- conseguire un’asciugatura in ambiente estremamente pulito e non ossidante; - achieve drying in an extremely clean and non-oxidizing environment;
- operare con basse temperature di asciugatura; - operate with low drying temperatures;
- ottenere un elevatissimo grado di pulizia ( ad esempio nei cuscinetti a sfere, nelle lenti di apparecchiature ottiche, nei particolari meccanici con sottili capillari, ecc.); - obtain a very high degree of cleanliness (for example in ball bearings, in the lenses of optical equipment, in mechanical parts with thin capillaries, etc.);
- pursue an ecological operation due to the absence or very low (depending on the type of fluid used) release of pollutants into the external environment.
The equipment is able to work with any type of evaporable fluid or substance, both at lower pressures, and greater than or equal to the atmospheric pressure.
In the case of objects that require washing quality that is not particularly high, the procedure can constitute, with the appropriate modifications, the entire washing cycle while maintaining the operating principle unchanged. To better understand the innovative process of the present patent, which by exploiting known physical principles allows to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, we move on to describe first the main components of the plant and then the operating cycles in their various phases, with reference to Fig. 1 of the attached Schematic table of the plant.
I componenti principali dell’impianto sono i seguenti: The main components of the system are the following:
a) una vasca ( 1) in cui vengono inseriti gli oggetti da sottoporre al trattamento di lavaggio e/o risciacquo e/o asciugatura strutturalmente in grado di resistere alle sollecitazione dovute alle pressioni o depressioni e agli agenti ossidanti. a) a tank (1) in which the objects to be subjected to the washing and / or rinsing and / or drying treatment are inserted, structurally capable of withstanding the stresses due to pressures or depressions and oxidizing agents.
For the development of vapors, the source of direct energy required can be of various kinds: electric, steam exchanger, liquid, solid or gaseous combustion, heat pump, solar energy, compression of the same gas.
The cooling system can be housed: inside the tank (1), or outside in a separate tank, or combined outside-inside. However, for polluting fluids, cooling inside the tank is always provided to reduce harmful vapors and create a "well" effect that retains any vapors inside the tank during the loading and unloading of objects. e) a cooling system (S).
Tale eiettore pur non essendo teoricamente necessario viene comunque montato per assicurare la espulsione di eventuale aria che dovesse filtrare attraverso le tenute. f) a pump-ejector system (6) for the extraction of condensed fluids and any non-condensable gases present inside the tank during depression operations. Although this ejector is not theoretically necessary, it is nevertheless mounted to ensure the expulsion of any air that may filter through the seals.
Tale camera sarà prevista solo per fluidi inquinanti do nocivi. h) a lung chamber (8) built in an adequate size and structure to contain the amount of air necessary to empty and fill, depending on the cycle phases, the tank (2). This chamber will be provided only for polluting or noxious fluids.
The complete system is generally made up of a pair of twin tanks so that, while the rinse cycle is carried out inside one tank, the drying cycle takes place inside the other.
The system is completed by the appropriate automation equipment (valves, solenoid valves, automatic and / or hydraulic pistons, hydraulic levels ...) · The automations can be adjusted both by relays and by PLC.
When the atura appliance is part of an automated washing system, its operation must be linked to the operation of the rest of the system.
The operating cycle begins with the introduction of the objects into the tank (1). In this phase the tank is empty and the lid (2) open. The introduction of objects can be both manual and automatic. The equipment for containing the objects is suitably designed according to the type of object itself to optimize the effectiveness of the thermodynamic cycle.
Once the objects have been introduced, the hermetic lid (2) is closed and the chamber is filled with liquid or steam in order to expel the air which is pushed into a special storage tank (8) whose connection in the upper part of the tank (1) has been provisionally opened. Once the tank has been loaded, the objects can be subjected to a normal rinse cycle as required by the type of objects.
Once the tank has been filled with the rinsing liquid and then all the air has been emptied, the connection of the tank to the tank (8) is closed.
The rinsing liquid is now extracted from the tank slowly by means of the pump (7) so that the free surface of its surface, as it descends, laps the objects placed inside it.
Simultaneously with the progressive extraction of the rinsing liquid the steam coming from the generator (3) is made to enter under pressure in the volume left empty by the rinsing liquid. This vapor has a higher temperature than that of the rinsing liquid (and possibly it is of the same nature as the rinsing liquid or in any case does not appear in contrast with the aforementioned liquid).
The vapor invests the emerging part of the objects and transmits its thermal energy to them. The aforesaid emerging part, which initially has the temperature of the rinsing liquid, determines above it the condensation of the vapor whose liquid film which is gradually forming, pouring along the surfaces of the said emerging parts performs a further rinsing.
This occurs continuously on the new surfaces of the objects that gradually emerge from the liquid that is descending. Once the phase of emptying all the liquid is finished, the hot steam that continues to enter, raises the temperature of the entire surface of the objects whose maximum limit is given by the temperature of the steam.
The entry of steam is now stopped and the tank (1) emptied of all the liquid is connected to a condenser (represented by the tank (4) equipped with a cooler). The steam expanding progressively in the aforementioned tank which collects it by condensing it, causes a depression inside the tank (1). The objects that are at an adequate thermal level, still covered by a liquid film, are in the conditions of freeing themselves from said liquid, which, due to the depression established, starts boiling. The boiling process continues until the liquid film, which covers the pieces, is exhausted, if these have sufficient thermal energy stored taking into account the degree of existing depression. If in the end the pieces were not dry and dry because their thermal energy accumulated in the original heating by the steam coming from the generator was not sufficient, a new drying cycle is started. Hot steam is again introduced into the tub; At a certain point the entry of this second insufflation of steam is interrupted, an adequate depression is created inside and the result is a simultaneous boiling of the residual liquid film which is still adhering to the objects until it is completely and their total drying and drying.
It should be noted that in addition to the condenser [tank (4)], a surface can be arranged inside the tank (1) which, when cooled at the programmed time, acts as a condenser.
If you want to perform drying only on the objects to be treated, instead of the complete rinsing and drying cycle, the sequence of operations is reduced. In this second case, the procedure takes place as in the previous description. First, the parts are introduced into the tank (1) and the lid (2) is hermetically closed. The tank (1) is put into communication with the storage tank (8) to let out the air present by opening the duct that connects it and also opening the communication with the steam generator (3). The pipe connecting the tank (1) with the tank (8) is then closed, leaving the steam inlet coming from the generator (3) open. The steam heats the objects and once the desired thermal level has been reached on the objects, the steam entry is stopped and the tank (1) communicates with the condenser (4) and possibly with the ejector (6) . With this an adequate depression is generated in the tank (1) which determines the boiling of the liquid film which covers the objects and which is formed due to the condensation on their surfaces. After a certain period, if the thermal energy accumulated by the objects is sufficient, the entire film that covers them evaporates and their surfaces are dry and dry. If, on the other hand, their thermal energy was not sufficient for complete and total drying, the entire cycle must be repeated in the manner described above. It should be noted that in the initial stages of heating of the objects, the vapor, which is hotter than the objects, condenses on them, forming a liquid veil which, descending along their surfaces, performs a rinse, which, although of modest entity, is considerable effectiveness and this in particular in the vicinity of the liquid-vapor interface.
Previously it was seen that the depression inside the tank (1) is obtained by putting it in communication with the condenser (4). It should also be kept in mind that the depression can also be obtained simultaneously with the condenser or alternating with it, by means of a surface, (not represented in the system diagram) specially cooled at the desired moment, placed inside the same tank. (1).
In the schematic representation of the system, in addition to the basic equipment, there are other auxiliary equipment such as the block (5) which represents a classic refrigerating machine and the block (6) comprising an ejector, a pump and a condenser.
After what has been described and analyzed above, the considerable inventive capacity inherent in the innovation of the rinsing and drying process and of the relative apparatus is evident. Construction and arrangement variants of the various parts are possible, and variations in the sequence of the phases are also possible both in terms of order and number without thereby departing from the patent. The patent is characterized by the use and exploitation of the principles of physics (known per se), applied to the particular technological process of rinsing and drying of objects that can be the most varied, such as material, shape and destination of use.
