CLAIMS 1) Method for the preparation of a foundation, comprising mixing suitable quantities of precursor emulsions each containing a single pigment, where said mixing provides the foundation in the desired color tone.

2) Method according to claim 1, where the precursor emulsions have the complete composition of a foundation, differing from each other only in the pigment contained therein.

3) Method according to claims 1-2, wherein the aforesaid emulsions are four, having respectively black, red, yellow and white colors.

4) Method according to claim 3, where the pigments used are: oxide black, oxide red, oxide yellow and titanium white. 5} Method according to claims 1-4, wherein the pigments are silicone treated pigments. 6) Method according to claims 1-5, wherein the precursor emulsions are silicone water emulsions. 7) Method of preparation according to claims 1-6, carried out on an industrial scale, and where the users receive the final product already mixed. 8) Method of preparation according to claims 1-6, carried out individually by the users who choose the desired color shade and mix the precursor emulsions on the basis of suitable dosage indications. 9) Precursor emulsion containing a single pigment, and the remaining ingredients needed to form a complete composition of ready-to-use foundation. 10) Precursor emulsion according to claim 9, where the pigment is selected from: oxide black, oxide red, oxide yellow and titanium white. 11) Precursor emulsion according to claims 9-10, wherein the pigment is a silicone treated pigment. 12) Precursor emulsion according to claims 9-11, where the emulsion is a silicone water emulsion. 13) Kit for the preparation of a foundation comprising the precursor emulsions described in claims 9-12, and the following optional components: one or more containers for mixing the emulsions, one or more means for dosing them, one or more means for mixing them, and instructions that indicate for each shade of color, the quantities of emulsions to be used. 14) Kit according to claim 13, where the quantities of emulsions contained in the kit allow the preparation of a single package of foundation for personal use. 15) Kit according to claim 13, where the quantities of emulsions contained in the kit allow the preparation of a quantity of foundation compatible with the needs of a subcontractor, a pharmacy or other intermediate distributor.
