Abstract

Una struttura componibile per realizzare tutori ortopedici applicabili al tronco di pazienti affetti da patologie correlate alla curvatura della colonna vertebrale formata da un elemento pressore (6) da disporsi in corrispondenza di una parte del tronco stabilita dal medico ed almeno una coppia di cinghie (3, 4) elastiche di lunghezza regolabile atte ad essere collegate all'elemento pressore per sottoporlo a trazione da parti opposte intorno al tronco. Una mutandina (1) presenta mezzi di aggancio (2) per le cinghie o per l'elemento pressore ed è previsto almeno un altro mezzo di ancoraggio (5) alle spalle o alla vita del paziente provvisto di mezzi di aggancio (20) per dette cinghie. La presente invenzione ha per oggetto una struttura componibile per realizzare tutori ortopedici per curve vertebrali destinata all'applicazione al corpo di pazienti affetti da alcune patologie del tronco, quali scoliosi, lordosi, cifosi, ecc. Quella schematizzata nelle figure 2 e 3, che comprende due placche pressorie 106a e 106b disposte una anteriormente ed una posteriormente in posizione centrale sostanzialmente alla stessa altezza nella sezione medio superiore del tronco, è adatta per il trattamento della cifosi o dorso curvo. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Modular structure to make orthopedic braces suitable for application to the trunk of patients suffering from pathologies related to the curvature of the spine characterized by the fact of including: - at least one pressure element adapted to be arranged in correspondence with a part of the trunk established on the basis of the type of treatment envisaged by the doctor; - at least one pair of elastic belts of adjustable length adapted to be connected to said pressure element to subject it to traction from opposite sides around the trunk; - a panty provided with first hooking means for said belts or for said pressure element; - at least one other element for anchoring said pressure element to the shoulders or waist of the patient provided with second hooking means for said belts, whereby the latter, subjected to predetermined traction between said panty and said further anchoring element, stress to traction from opposite sides said pressure element which exerts a compression of a predetermined amount in correspondence with the body part on which it is placed.

2. Modular structure according to claim 1, wherein at least one of said belts is connected to a dynamometer.

3. Modular structure according to the preceding claims, in which said first coupling means provided on said panty comprise semi-rigid plates at the sides.

4. Modular structure according to claim 3, wherein snap buttons are provided on said plate for connection with said belts.

5. Modular structure according to the preceding claims, in which said panty is edged at the waist and possibly at the thighs with a non-elastic band provided with a plurality of transversal seams.

6. Modular structure according to the preceding claims, in which the internal part of said panty in correspondence with the thighs is silicone-coated.

7. Modular structure according to the preceding claims, wherein said other anchoring element comprises at least one axillary support formed by a semi-rigid annular band applied to the shoulder.

S. Modular structure according to claim 7, in which two symmetrical axillary supports are provided to which two pressure elements are connected by means of said belts, one of which is front and one rear, the latter being connected to said panty by means of a tie rod.

9. Modular structure according to the preceding claims, in which at least one of said belts is removably connected to said at least one pressure element.

10. Modular structure for making orthopedic braces substantially as described above and illustrated with reference to the attached drawings.
