L'assemblaggio di costruzione di case in legno era originariamente affidato alla sovrapposizione d? tronchi, travi, doghe o perline di legno, che assemblati formavano le pareti. Diverse, nei corso degli anni, le migliorie apportate. Il giunto ? realizzato utilizzando esclusivamente elementi di metallo standardizzati, opportunamente pre-tagliati, pre-forati e pre-saldati. Nell'analisi dello stato dell'arte sono molteplici i dispositivi di fissaggio angolari, adoperati soprattutto neH'ambito del furniture e per l'assemblaggio di piccole strutture. Questi sistemi, per?, si limitano all'utilizzo di chiodi e viti, anzich? di un serraggio a morsa per eventuali elementi verticali, in tutta l'altezza utile, non sufficienti per l'assemblaggio di ambienti (" LEG ASSEMBLY FOR PINBALL GAME", brevetto n?US4128222; "TABLE" brevetto n ?US1882678; "KNOCKDOWN JOINT CONSTRUCTION FOR FORNITURE FRAMES AND OTHER STRUCTURES" brevetto n ?US3572787).
